Love this, THANK YOU! I just recently picked up trash in 2 locations and was surprised that both had multiple plastic plant containers. They had clearly been there quite some time with no degradation.
Thank you for doing that! We do hope many of the growers and retailers that offer our plants take this opportunity to offer a more sustainable option.
Ive seen this already on another site! Great idea!
Thank you Gina, we are so proud to present this option that will help many to garden in a sustainable way over the summer!
Will these great new type of pots compost well in a small home compost pile, or does it need the greater heat created in professional composters?
It will take more than one season for these containers to breakdown 100% in the soil. The more you break them into smaller pieces, the amount of water/rain the soil receives and heat levels will effect this. But these pieces do contain plant food within the material we used, so there is benefit to composting if possible.
I bought 5 of your double white begonia they were in these poults I took them out and planted one needs some sort of help please give me some wisdom on how to save it

😮😮😮 ECO GRANDE 🪴💚✅👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Does not seem available in my area. :(
We are in a rollout mode with this container, but it was available for greenhouse growers and grower/retailers to order this year. It is up to the grower to decide what type of container to grow our plants in, this is just one option if they have a desire to offer a sustainable option. Thanks for watching.
Will it make your plants price go up? Would be perfection if we don’t have to pay even more.
Who cares! It's time to start taking responsibility for the earth we have actively been destroying. I'd be happy to pay an extra dollar to know I'm not adding to a landfill.
There is a cost to all of our containers that is part of the overhead the greenhouse growers occur when offering plants for sale--including the soil, plant food, the plant liner etc. This container is slightly more expensive since we are in the development stage, but we have found such excitement at the gardener level...we are thrilled to be offering a sustainable option.
