- Hi guys! I wanted to introduce you all to my fur babies! Meet my wolfpack which includes 3 very special and very unique American Eskimo dogs by the name of Chloe, Kai and Aki.
They all have very different personalities and slightly different looks. See if you can tell the difference after watching! Enjoy!

I had an American Eskimo named Boo Boo. These dogs are the ultimate in angel food cake cuteness. They are so lovable and cuddly that they'll turn you into a baby-talking fool. I miss Boo Boo and think about him every day.

My boyfriend rescued an amazing American Eskimo, Mini. Her name is Molly and she is a very intuitive, very active, and loving beyond description. She melts our hearts everyday. Even as senior..she's 14, she plays like a puppy! Thanks so much for sharing your fur family with us!
My sister has a male pure bred Eskimo and he had a litter with a Chihuahua, the result is a shorter haired eskie lol I love my eskie mutt, she's so nice, has NEVER tried to bite me. I love this breed, huge snugglers and will let you know if a stranger is close
Chloé has all the traits like our Snow White! They are so precious!
We had two and they are incredibly adorable and fun to have around. They are the best. Glad you rescued them. And one of ours was scared of everything else. The other one sees ghost, I’m not kidding it was weird and he did it almost of his 15 year life.

Got our American Eskimo aka Spitz for my daughter 2020 (just before the pandemic) Love him! they're inteligent, smart, alerted but stubborn, they bark a lot, too loud! they learn your routine, grab my car key they wanna go to the store, park etc. put on my sandals they know I'm staying home.
My "throwback" Pom, Sweetie, who died two weeks ago, looked and acted much like Chloe. I loved her with my whole heart.
You had a white Pom? I had a white Pom too that very much looked like an American Eskimo
We had a mini eskie for nearly 16 years. We had to put her to sleep three days ago. We miss her so much. A beautiful animal with what seemed to be endless energy. I am envious of you and your trio of eskies. Enjoy them you lucky guy.

It is so good to see you with those three dear Eskies! I had my favorite dog ever for 15 years...his name was Waco. He was Joy! I have always described him as The Perfect Dog. He Was! A standard Eskimo size...about 25 pounds. I still miss him.
A quarter of my subs are now american eskimo/samoyed dog channels and I am okay with that.

Oh I love seeing you talk about your dogs, so cute! We have one eskie, joey the magical dog. He's got his own you tube channel but we forgot to mention he's an eskie so he doesn't get many visitors. But it's so cool to fall in love with a particulat breed, and whenever you see one they strike a chord in your heart and you fall in love with them. People who have had eskies always stop to say hi to joey and tell me about their dogs, and it's so sweet. Loving the eskies :)
Thanks for the great intro to your Eskie. I've always had 1 - 3 of them for the last 32 years.
Every one of them was/different...just like people or other dog breeds for that matter.

i have had 3 of them and i loved them all even with their some set back s still miss them so much
You're so fortunate! I currently have 2, PR Crystal Caverns Misty Winter's Dawn, and Macaroon, a rescue from San Bernardino. Misty is a small standard and Mac is a 15lb mix with something. But none the less, they are equal in my heart in their own ways. Eskies are the best dogs ever 💕💖💕

Our Lula is just like your Chloe! She is very vocal and prefers keep away to fetch. My mini Eskies are my joy. Glad you have found the same in the breed.
They are all so beautiful, and have unique personalities. Eskies are the best!
Cute! All around cute. I have had Niko for 7 years. He is 29lbs normally(pure mini eskie) He’s a little chunky now going into winter at 31lbs. Very similar behaviors and personality as Chloe.

I love American Eskimos. They are so loving 🥺🥰
That isn't normal, they must have a condition that makes her eyes turn in 2 directions, if that's the cause you should take care of them really well so they don't get hurt.

We also have Mae dog and she is wonderful with lots of quirks. She squeals at the thought of maybe getting hurt. Lol. Very loud shrill bark, very loving. So much of what you are saying is like Izzy. I have to reinforce every toy I buy for her because she always shreds them.

Great video! We had a rescue Eskie and he was practically glued to me (and tolerated my wife). Big shedders, as I'm sure you have discovered with 3 of them.

I have a toy, frankly I wish I had gotten a total of three, the day I got her. One amazing thing about them: the breed is extremely consistent in behavior and mannerisms. I have watched a dozen videos of them and every one of them, I'm like "yep my girl is just like that".

We lost American Eskimo several years ago. She was the smartest, most agile baby we've ever had. Mitzi had very cat like features like jumping from the floor to the back of the couch. She's very missed. 😢

My Eskie is Sailor, she is such a sweetheart. Whenever someone says my name in the house she just barks like crazy and it's so funny, but normally she is calm and not barky. I call her the queen of the house because she just runs over the whole house with her cuteness, even our "fun police" border collie does nothing about her. Our border collie girl hates it when her son is playing "too rough" so she pins him on the ground while Sailor bites his legs. It's a game they play, she also loves keep away the Sailor where she runs around the kitchen with a little smile while I try to get her.

My Juneau is on the more active end of the spectrum. He’s an acrobat. He jumps and does flips before dinner or going on a walk. He’s just a lil guy of 20 lbs
American Eskimo spitz dogs are beautiful breed dogs. I used to have an American Eskimo spitz dog in my younger days. We adopted her from the humane society. We had her 7 years

They are beautiful!! We lost our sweet girl, Koda back in March and we miss her dearly. She was our first fur baby and I was devastated. When we come back from Korea, I would love to have another mini American Eskimo. Sadly it seems most of the ones up for adoption are either not good around kids or other dogs and I have both so we’ll probably have to adopt a puppy. Where did you adopt yours from?
I was hoping for a lazy chunka Eskie, but I ended up with hyperactive firecracker squeaky toy-destroying Chloe instead. She goes through toys like craaaaazy. Even the super hardcore ones. Multiple walks, puzzle toys, puzzle feeders, teaching tricks, hide and seek, tug-a-war, everything...and she's still hyperactive. No regrets. ;)

Why do you think they're high maintenance?
@@hdb80 they shed alot, you have to brush them 2 or 3 times a week and you have to give them a bath once every 2 months
@@eugeneloew2721 I have one. I don't brush her 2-3 times a week, and she sheds twice a year when she blows her coat. And baths can be as often as a week with these dogs, or much less. It's up to the owner. They're very low maintenance for a long hair dog.
You are 3x braver than I am. I only have one eskimo and he drives me nuts! XD
What does he do? Is he just a very active and playful dog? If that's it then it's normal. But he should get lots of exercise. If you don't have a big backyard I would suggest frequent walks
@@TaliLovesFrogs My Eskimo gets at least 2 hours per day of exercise, we have a routine, he's fully trained, on an excellent diet, never alone and gets all the love and positive reinforcement he could ever want. He's still a temperamental jerk, just like a toddler he sometimes wakes up and chooses violence for the day. I'm his 5th home, he was passed around for the first year of his life because he's so much dog. I've had him for 5 months now, 5 months of every single day training and exercise rain or shine and he's still got problems. The worst is the scavenging and biting you if you try to take his precious garbage from him. I carry a very special treat with my everywhere to train him to make a safe exchange and it still doesn't matter sometimes. He also occasionally just goes berserk at other dogs when they've been happily playing the entire time. He's bitten myself and my sister several times trying to get him off the other dog, my right hand is currently bruised up from an episode he had a few days ago. On top of that, Eskimos are CRAZY loud.
These dogs, especially mine who had a bad first year, are a TON of work and NOT for new dog owners. I think people get fancy looking dogs like this thinking they're cute but don't realize they need as much work as the higher maintenance northern breeds do.
I don't have a mini Eskie btw - mine is the largest size, 30 lbs. So all the sass of a Pomeranian in a size large enough to cause some damage.
Oh we also have a big yard XD Dude has it VERY good, trust me!

Do you recommed any special brand of food for the American Eskimo dog? I got one 2 weeks ago and he has been eating NutriSource. He is a mini too but now he is 3 months old. I have thought of buying hills science diet, but I dont really know if its a good type of food for him. Any suggestion?

thanks for the video. we are considering an Eskie for our family with 8 and 11 year old kids. how much maintenance do these dogs require? grooming, etc. Both my wife and I grew up with dogs but it’s been some time. any advice or perspective would be welcome!
My American Eskimo Roshi, is like Chloe - immediately pull all the stuffing out of stuffed toys to get and kill the squeaker. He doesn’t fetch, he only plays keep away.

I have an eskie and he is just like yours! He is so energetic and playful. He loves to learn new tricks! I recently taught him how to do "hug!" Where he will stand up onto his hind legs and I will hug him. It's so cute 😂😂 do your dogs get along well?

That’s what I was gonna say!! I have one Eskie boy (Emmitt) and he sheds like crazy...long white hairs everywhere and I’m cleaning 24/7 in a house..when I saw he had 3 in (what looks like) an apartment I was like omg! But it is heaven...if I was younger I’d love 3 💜💜LOL
Have to clean the eyes daily as I do with my 4 year Eskie, Puka! No stains after 4 years..

My family had a Miniature American Eskimo, named “ShyAnne” years ago! And although my mom had a fear of dogs due to a childhood trauma, my dad was given one as a “tip” on his job and had brought her home to us. We barely had her as our new and only family pet in the home as my dad worked most nights and thought she would be a good companion as well as protector for us as a growing family and with my mom being nearly full term in her pregnancy at the time, before we were subject to becoming victims of a home invasion by 2 estranged men very late one night and ShyAnne attacked them, forcing them both out of our home and straight into a local patrol car that was making its rounds through the neighborhood watch program! Long story short, my mom got over her fear of dogs from that day forward and loved and cared for ShyAnne until her last dying day nearly 22 years ago ❤️ Now, my mom is ready to seek another female like her if you know of any reputable breeders please? Thank you for sharing your video for we love watching it! 🥰 #StayBlessed

Sophia Costa They are fine with cats if introduced properly. I have both and the dog does get jealous sometimes. She will push the cat out of the way for pats lol.

Unfortunately my American Eskimo spitz dog died from kidney diseases although after living for 7 years. We had her for 7 years in my younger days.
