The more I think about it, Joel was no different then any other, we were just getting his side of the story. He was no saint at all. P.S I played this as a kid , but the older and wiser I get I see differently!

Yeah but he was still in the right. He did horrible things in the past, but he was still right here. In the world that the game is based in, it's survival of the fittest, or as Dutch puts it, "shoot folks as need shooting and save folks as need saving".

My favorite part of the first game was the giraffes. So iconic and emotional.
i played tlou for the first time last year on ps5. i stayed watching the giraffes for like 30 mins. i didn’t want that moment to ever end.

Always loved how Naughty Dog made (the usually observant and perceptive) Ellie become temporarily aloof and distracted, in the aftermath of her traumatic exchange with David. And then… the giraffes make everything better 😊

I remember just standing there with Ellie for a good 10 minutes the first time I played this game looking at the giraffes. This really is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Your videos are awesome man

I played this part of the game all stoned (I smoke very rarely) and I sat there staring at the giraffe scene for probably 20-30 min hahaha so beautiful! Esp with a 4k OLED. Not to mention the entire game is one of the best games ever made.
