This soundtrack is lowkey the most prolific high fantasy epic personified into chiptunes that i've ever heard in my life. An entire saga plays out in my mind...
I agree. I first played this in the early to mid 90s when I was a small child. I remember playing it on a small old crt tv and I quickly learned that the soundtrack was listenable via the options menu. Every track had a name, and could be skipped just like a track on a CD.
These are my oldest memories, as well as my first experience of joy and love for music. An image of the options screen is still stored in my mind photographically 30 years later. An intense euphoric feeling was felt. I still think this is some of the best music ever composed.

Jewel Master (Stage 1 - The Forest Ruins) this is sooo good for an early Genesis game
Kinda reminds me of Zeliard.
Best track in the game, imo! Very Prog Rock.
Classic. 16-bit prog rock.
This game is a hidden gem.

Anyone notice the similarities between this game and Castlevania 4?
Aside from the main sprite, the game is totally different.
@@danmakuman The cave stage in C4 was eerily similar to the ice cave in JM.
