lolpho those 8th notes are justified with the exact same sound patterns...honestly that should be the least of the worries with this stepchart. There are other reasons on why this is a hard 13 tho.
@@lpcrossover5424 8ths are obviously not difficult on their own, but the difficulty is that it comes in the middle of all the 12th notes, so you have to switch your sense of rhythm from one to the other pretty quickly.
the timing makes more sense once you actually play it, aside from the end its very much a 13. it's at least easier than Step Machine for sure and thats a 14. maybe 13.8 or .9 for that ending
I used to stand by this chart as a 14 but after playing for a while, it's mainly the ending that's hard. Everything else is a standard 13. This is a 13 but on the higher end of it. The double chart, however, is hands down a mid to hard 14. That has absolutely NO BUSINESS even being considered a 13 on anyone's mouths

I'd say the Single is fine as a 13, but I wouldn't trip if it were bumped up to a 14; it def feels like a 14 at times, and I didn't become more comfortable reading this until I started clearing more 14s and some 15s (If 13 is currently your peak level, you might find this chart very difficult to beat at first; I def did struggle with it, def chips away at your stamina if you're not strategic about it). But the EDP (Expert Double Play) DEFINITELY should be a 14, without question. Absolutely. Literally has some Possession elements going on in it during that final quarter, and I'd say that's def 14-worthy. Especially with that nice 24th note crossover stream that lasts as long as the one in the Possession ESP/EDP charts. I think consistency is key when it comes to these ratings.
This I can see still being a 13 but on the harder end of it. But I don't know what fool thought it's a good idea to put the Double chart into the 13 folder when it has pad crossovers that make it almost creep to 15 territory lmfao
Some of these comments are honestly baffling me. This song sounds like it was rejected from Beatmania. Not IIDX; I mean that early 5-key stuff. The steps themselves are pretty sick; I'm often a fan of lulling you into a pattern and then switching it up for a measure to see if you're paying attention - bonus points on making it crazy difficult to time common 8th notes while the 12th notes seem like the natural pattern.
