You can't beat $20 for an afternoon adventure. I think you will do very well on this one. The cloths are great, you just need to wash them with that laundry detergent. The fall jackets should get you more than a Five'r at the flea market. The shoes and backpacks will sell well too.
Definitely a couple, both football (soccer) oriented. Don’t live in the states , just traveling through. You made much more than 100% of your investment. Just a guess. I love these units clean, small, and easy to get through.

We live near a local college, and when the students move out we salvage their cast offs. Lotsa soaps shampoos, shaving cream, toiletries, cleaning supplies, can/dry goods to say the least. what we can't use we either sell it or take it to goodwill. We try to keep goods from the landfill.

Thank you! How I wish for another trash bag house, but it doesn’t seem to be. I’ll take any good trash nowadays, I miss my old days of trash picking. More restrictions by towns has made it so trash has to be in a can, not just out, so people put out less stuff.
I used to travel a lot for work, and would stay in a place anywhere from a few days to a few months, that stuff looks like stuff that my wife and I would have accumulated on one of our longer stays (she would travel with me when possible). They probably had to move on and either forgot or planned on coming back and never did.
Could have been the case! I think for some if they are renting a unit & do move, it’s almost a “Let’s see what we can fit in the vehicle & whatever is left, we’ll come back”. Then they move hours away & think it’s not worth coming back for.
Great storage unit! So Clean. Staple is a pretty cool brand. Did not expect Staple in a storage unit. I guess that's why storage units are fun to dig through. You never know what's hiding in the next bag or bin. Roark is another great brand. I always keep an eye out for Roark during my own thrifting adventures. Your storage unit videos are so much fun. Perhaps the Gutenberg was in a unit that I bid on but was paid up on at the last minute… artwork, antiques, a dream unit! One day! I’m already using the bags I found plus can fit the one pair of sneakers, so it’s a win! Some of the health & beauty products will go to the flea market along with some clothing, after sorted & perhaps some research to familiarize myself with the brands (it’s the remembering part that gets me!). We just had a good rainstorm come through, but the humidity stayed. Chance of rain tomorrow coupled with heat equals not a flea market day, which means I can catch up on other things & also get some research done! Hope that you had a nice Saturday!
Hi Renée, I love your Barbie t-shirt, not least because I see Barbie with different eyes since the movie by Greta Gerwig. The shirt with the pigeon is great. I would love to have a t-shirt with a similarly realistic depiction of a crow or a jackdaw. All amazing birds with an unfair bad image. The storage unit may not have contained memorabilia or ephemera, but it did contain shoes and clothing from good brands. Almost all of them are also very common on the European market - is that a coincidence or did the storage unit renters have a connection to Europe (see also the BMW stuff)? @@PaperandMoose I use them to carry packages to the post office and to clean out unboxed stuff from estate sales. They are perfect if you buy a closet or cabinet full of stuff. Perfect size and weight. If it is breakable smalls I'll bring paper in too. I love them. I'm sort of jealous.
In some stores, I wouldn’t be surprised. The deodorant that I used to get now costs around $12-$15, depending on the store. Not using that brand anymore at that cost!

Storage units may be one of the few places when one can say, "Ugg," (Ugh) and it's a good thing. The pigeon sweatshirt is fantastic. Did you know pigeons are one of the few birds that drink by suction instead of having to tilt their heads back? Pigeons can also recognize people in photographs - so a fine mascot for the ephemerist crowd! Looks like a "fair to middlin''" unit - stuff for you, stuff to sell. The ratio of shorts to shirts suggests to me that maybe Matthew McConaughey owned the unit: "Uh, Mr. Soderbergh, today's scene I think would be a good opportunity for me to take my shirt off." Came to say exactly that. FC is for Football Club. The us calls it Soccer. It's Football to the rest of the world. Some of the clothing has good resell value.

Facility managers in my area make around $15 per hour. Facility associates make around $13 per hour. Some facilities find it worthwhile to pre-sort and glean the quick cash items. Easy to spot usually. Multiple units at one facility with very close proximity to each other, furniture tetrised in one or two units, totes and boxes in another, bags loose cloths and junk in another, or no junk anywhere in their auctions. Then you notice a familiar face seen around the facility selling at the local large flea market sometimes. Or a non lien auction from a private person happening weekly at the same facility. They do that a lot in SC where it is legal to do whatever with a forfeited unit under $300 estimated and only rule for over $300 estimated is that it be auctioned...eventually. 😢

Maybe Facebook market place, online etc..Those name brand clothes are worth more than $2.00 per. One pair of sneakers could get your 20 bucks back. That ash may be cremated remains. Though we scattered our Mom's ashes, My Sister & Brother each kept a small vial of them.
You can add so many reusable bags to your accumulation. My storage unit videos are my favorite. As usual, awesome video Renee.
