U don’t reason with a crazy guy u have to use your wits & psychology & keep calm, eg say if Jean tried to get him out of the house by saying he needs time to think about what he sajd & that his wife will be back soon & they should talk in the morning & after safely locking the house with his wife move to a hotel & get extra security for the house before moving back in & telling Bob they can never be together & should stop all contact just a thought anyways 😮
In this story we just saw how a normal person will normally react to such a revelation... Even if he knew the steps you mentioned there's a high chance that emotions would completely thwart any preconceived idea.
I don't think in the moment you can think about being calm. I freaked out just watching this, I think I would have knocked Bob the duck out. Dafuq!!
