Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?

Was pretty good, I would have framed the video with a stronger conclusion (e.g how did she respond to him being late and how did that altercation that was being set up by the framing of the clips story-line end vs the video ending at the doorway) I felt you cut the video off before the conclusion story framing wise pretty much. I did like the lack of abrupt cuts that might have removed not particularly informative dialogue but dialogue that nonetheless sets the scene, It made the clip more immersive. The video quality was good, though I would make the clips a bit longer, both to introduce more story cohesion (the conclusion for example) and help with the CZcams algorithm as longer videos equals more watch time equals higher priority from CZcams with exposure. Overall 7-8 out of 10 imo.

I give this classic film 10/10 because it was a good film along with great sound tracks. I haven't seen Top Gun 2 and I have no plans on doing so anytime soon because it won't be no where near as good as the first one. From the movie trailer Top Gun 2 it looks crap. Films and music aren't as good as they used to be.

Late eighties/nineties gen X played volleyball crazy!
I had farmer friends who built pro volleyball courts in the lawn on their farm. They played for hours 2-3 nights a week.
We had pro courts in small and medium sized towns, busy 6 nights a week all summer long.
Recall watching 4 guys in their late thirties volley back n forth for several minutes without ball touching sand. They hit ground HARD, but ball stayed up.
Volleyball was a thing for a Long Time.

As someone who has played beach volleybal at a (semi)-competitive level, the beach volleybal scene is of course complete nonsense. But as a movie Top Gun was epic, and - maybe together with Wall Street - sums up the late eighties perfectly

Not sure what you mean. I played in some games like that when I was their age, as young, semi-athletic guys with some volleyball experience...but nothing competitive. I wasn't wearing jeans, though.

Just saw Top Gun Maverick and while I agree with you that nothing will beat the original, it was a worthy sequel. Flight sequences are amazing, and the scene with Ice & Maverick almost made me cry.

You probably already know this but she hasn't really taken care of herself as far as doing all of the extra things to stay in shape look glamorous etc. As everyone does she has every right to just allow father time to have his way. But as you know with movies involving Tom Cruise a premium is going to be placed on fitness, physical attractiveness etc.
That being said she played her part well in the first Top Gun and was drop dead gorgeous.

Because of the TOP GUN MAVERICK MOVIE (which was PHENOMENAL) I HAD TO WATCH THE ORIGINAL AGAIN AFTER LONG TIME. AND Maaaaan Nostalgia CUTS LIKE A KNIFE HERE. I will BE VERY HONEST AND I'M NOT SCARE TO SHARE IT. The music, the love story, everything. One impression i get from watching the original is everyone look phenomenal and REAL, NATURAL. KELLY MCGINNIS looks gorgeous. And I love the fact that she is True to herself NOWADAYS, saying that she's now old and fat and age appropriate for her age and she is not forcing herself to look like all Hollywood glossy. And some people are killing her for that. Let her be who she is. She was and still is a beautiful woman. I would love to see her more taking care of herself, but for her health generaly. I'm not asking for her to BE SUPERMODEL as she was in her 20's or 30s, we all age differently. She is full aware of herself, her look and if you erase the fact that she got weight, everything about her STILL LOOKS REAL, and NATURAL without surgeries. And that got me thinking about the world we're living right now. Fake, where everybody are sensitive, men not acting like men sometimes. Women with copy/paste style, haircuts, fake boobs, lips, tattoos all over the body, plastic surgeries (I don't have nothing against that, but i have when it's over the top). No true romance, live conversations, everything it's about DM'S on Instagram or similar shit via social Media, clicking on our phones. We need to come back to basics. All of us. I love old-school movies like this with these romance stories, even though they are predictable or cheese for today's generations, but those were simpler, different times where people used to SHOW their EMOTIONS and SPILL THEIR GUTS over it just Like Maverick and Charlie HERE . Maybe it's cheese or corny or over the top or predictable for some new generations, but i love sometimes to watch good old popcorn, cheesy and predictable movie to relax and enjoy. It's not fair to judge a movie from 30+ years ago through "2022" eyes. If they had more time i think they would've developed even better romance story for sure. Original was good for that time, and Maverick for this time. Every scene with MAVERICK AND CHARLIE is sexy as hell, their chemistry is OFF THE CHART for me(ok maybe little forced for someone but I'm not gonna be ovecritical, it's not easy to make romantic story where everybody would be pleased), make me wish that we all have that type of woman/man in our life. And the SONG TAKE MY BREATH AWAY IS JUST LEGENDARY and brings so much emotions, real emotions. And by the way MAVERICK IS FANTASTIC SEQUEL. BOTH FILMS ARE GOOD IN THEIR OWN RIGHT. I'm not saying that "everything was better and good in the past". My opinion is you have to keep good things and values from the past that i mentioned above and mix it with good things from today's time. Just like MAVERICK MOVIE mix of good things from original and some new ideas. I know it's little off the topic but i hope that there are still a lot of real people out there. DON'T BE AFRAID TO SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS NO MATTER WHAT SOCIETY TELLS YOU. BE REAL, be TRUE TO YOURSELF, LOVE YOURSELF for who you are and don't be shy to express it.

Agree 100%. Also, even in this movie, Tom Cruise was not exactly perfect looking either. Look closely and you can see his front teeth are uneven. (I think he had this fixed later on. If you watch any of his more recent movies and compare them to any of his 80' s movies you'll see the difference) He also has a prominent uni-brow. But he was still hot as hell in this movie! 🔥😍Nowadays I think there's too much pressure to be 100% perfect. Perfect teeth, eyebrows, skin, hair, body, etc.

It is what is inside that counts the most, you learn this with wisdom. Sure Tom, and the rest of the main character dudes, as well as Kelly and Meg..all looked ravishing. Goose looks average, but still nothiing is wrong with him, and he certainly did NOT look out of shape.
