Beautiful video stuff of dreams, just the thing to watch on a dark morning with a cup of coffee in a covid tier 4 Berkshire. Need to visit when this is all over
Loved the video guys. Enjoy our Hill lochs up in the Highlands of Scotland. Tight lines
Nice to see you fly fishing rob
Stunning scenery
It is indeed, Gods country :)
😍 quality guys
The same preparedness should be followed in any mountainous region or even remote non mountainous areas. Even a couple of miles can be a very long way if things go bad.
Great video, but of an untapped venue I’d imagine even though it’s run by a club. Absolute stunning trout
Run by Cambrian Angling Association.
Lovely! We are going to Caernarfon in July and I hope to get a couple of hours with my 5'9" 2-weight fiberglass rod in a troutstream. If not we will at least experience the scenery...
Check out Llyn Idwal..... :+)

If there is time we will.
Just had my second visit to the area, fished Llyn Gamallt a few weeks ago, didn't have a touch but they were feeding and fixated on something.
Went to Llyn Cwmorthin today, plenty of tugs and 1 beautifully marked Brownie about 9 ounces.
Llyn Morwynion next i think.
Great video hopefully get on some llyns myself next year 👌
Definitely worth a go next spring! There are nearly 500 wild lakes in Wales to try 👍
@@FishingInWales thanks I will I have been looking at your website at some so got a couple in mind and some are much closer to home than I thought
@@TheWelshflyfisher I'll be getting on some Lynns myself 🤣🤣
Fancy trying this with my dad, the first lake i know how to get to, but the second i don't, also do you need day tickets for these Llyn's please?
You need day tickets with Cambrian angling association. If you watch the whole video we explain how and where to get them 😃
Very enjoyable lads
thanks eric!
Alright mate, would you recommend lure fishing at lakes such as these, I’m going next week and don’t have a fly rod as of yet, so was thinking about doing a bit of spinning? My parents bought a cottage in Dolgellau recently so going to explore the various fishing spots, Many thanks
Jack, the Bown trout season is now closed. It can vary slightly but the brown trout season typically runs from early March to the end of September.
The trout season runs from March the 20th to 17th October on these lakes so no winter fishing. In season you can spin fish the lakes shown in the film, small mepps usually work.
Cheers fellas, does the same apply to mawddach estuary?
@@jackbrennan2184 An estuary is saltwater - so you can fish that any time of year. Probably some bass still about. But be aware of the level 4 COVID lock-down just announced!
@@FishingInWales yeah I’ve seen, that’s my plans out the window lol, will give me some time to do some needed research I guess haha
Excuse my ignorance but I'm struggling to work out the names of the 3 lakes visited......
Llyn Conglog, Llyn Cwmorthin and Llyn Cwm Corsiog. Details of which can be found on www.fishingwales.net
Nice editing and beautiful sound control (easier said than done!) That last trout was a monster for a wild mountain trout ey??
Cheers mate!
Day tickets are available through BLAENAU FFESTINIOG ANGLING ASSOCIATION
First lake they fish is cwm orthin lake not corsiog
It's Cambrian Angling Association, and yes you are correct, first lake is Cwm Orthin. That's the pressure of talking to camera for you!
