    Beautiful video stuff of dreams, just the thing to watch on a dark morning with a cup of coffee in a covid tier 4 Berkshire. Need to visit when this is all over

    The same preparedness should be followed in any mountainous region or even remote non mountainous areas. Even a couple of miles can be a very long way if things go bad.

    Great video, but of an untapped venue I’d imagine even though it’s run by a club. Absolute stunning trout

    Lovely! We are going to Caernarfon in July and I hope to get a couple of hours with my 5'9" 2-weight fiberglass rod in a troutstream. If not we will at least experience the scenery...

    Just had my second visit to the area, fished Llyn Gamallt a few weeks ago, didn't have a touch but they were feeding and fixated on something.
    Went to Llyn Cwmorthin today, plenty of tugs and 1 beautifully marked Brownie about 9 ounces.
    Llyn Morwynion next i think.

    Alright mate, would you recommend lure fishing at lakes such as these, I’m going next week and don’t have a fly rod as of yet, so was thinking about doing a bit of spinning? My parents bought a cottage in Dolgellau recently so going to explore the various fishing spots, Many thanks

      Jack, the Bown trout season is now closed. It can vary slightly but the brown trout season typically runs from early March to the end of September.

    • @FishingInWales
      @FishingInWales  Před 3 lety +1

      The trout season runs from March the 20th to 17th October on these lakes so no winter fishing. In season you can spin fish the lakes shown in the film, small mepps usually work.

      @@jackbrennan2184 An estuary is saltwater - so you can fish that any time of year. Probably some bass still about. But be aware of the level 4 COVID lock-down just announced!
