Correct. Yoshimitsu speaks traditional Japanese. Most of his quotes are proverbs.
His death quote "Honmatsu tentou!" is something about doing things in the wrong order, for example.
i have to say, Yoshimitsu is extremly cool when you learn to use him properly!

Yoshimistu is many things.
Yoshimitzu is also not a single entity, he's the head of a clan that name is actually a title, but for some reason Yoshi is the same in Tekken 6 and seven due to his cursed blade needing a second good one to balance it out and him being the same possessed one in both
5 is still my favourite to this day. No pesky dlc that resells staple characters for 8 bucks a pop. Like Tekken 7

It's because they're both capoeira fighters and it's a martial art that is liek dancing.
One of my favourite attacks was cross and circle and down to sit down and reload. And if the enemy comes close spawn behind him

How do you get the costume that is in 00:53 ?
I accidentally done an attack with yoshimitsu that he slashed and went through his opponent, but I can't find how to do it in the move list, it was like a slash to the stomach and yoshimitsu reappears behind the opponent. Please help.
julesloveless press forward handle twice and upper right controller button. If the opponent is trying to do any variety or beat you then you’ll go through him as you said otherwise yoshimitsu will only hit the butt of the sword. It only works when the opponent is trying to beat you

Why does my yoshimitsu on taken dark resurrection look like a skeleton can i change that?
I think its something about him dying and loosing his body, he was 30-something in tekken 1, and then notice he becomes more and more robot/inhuman from T2 and onwards
Especially with his sword.

Yea he is human, he isn't an alien. He was born at the foot of mount fuji. His blood type is O and he is 5'6" (kind of short I know) Namco leaked this information out when tekken 4 came out. There is a special costume you can earn in tekken 5 of him without any armor on and he's painted blue. I also have a background of him from tekken 3 and he has no helmet on he's creepy looking. If you know his story he WAS human actually, or still is but he's a demon also.
best part of fighting jinpachi with yoshimitsu is using meditation healing to dodge the fireballs

In tekken 6 it's Back Back 1+4 (Back Back Square+Circle)
In TTT2 it's Back+Up (Diagonal) 1+2 (Back+Up Square Triangle)

I must admit I like this Yoshimitsu better than the Soul Calibur version. DOn't get me wrong, this one really looks BA as for the other he just looks more like a comical person than a warrior of justice.
