A couple of Matthias' wooden bevel gears and a 775 motor at 12v.
Like you say with all the adjustment a proper routine needed to cut all like cables together.
A pity PVC is non-recyclable for us mortals. If you're a business with high volume then you can.

The drill will do for now Ian. It has the benefit of keeping one hand out of harms way.

Try putting the wire in the hole and then putting the guide so it touches the base. This puts tension on the wire, sometimes it find it easier to cut wire that way. Make yourself a jig so you can sharpen the cutter in the machine, if a file (the micro ones should) does not fit look at using the scary sharp method. The instructions should tell you the angle if the blade, I use a 30 degree angle. Great video as always

I think there is a good bit of refinement due. It is not really designed for twin and earth under 10mm so I’ll have to adapt it somehow as most of the stuff I see is household 2x2.5

I have seen somebody attach two Stanley knifes (one for each side) to the front of these type of machines. The cutter is used as a feeder and the Stanley knife blades cut each side. The person used wood to make the structure holding the Stanley knifes, you could also use a 3d as well.

Certainly quicker that with a knife, one of those things that takes time to get it just right, cheers

The knife allows time for mindfulness. This is geared to profit!

@@bootsowen I'm thinking of less damage to the fingers, cheers

Once you have built up welts on the hands and some muscle memory the wire just about strips itself
