If he was shining he wouldn't have lost the match and he wouldn't have been pinned by Wardlow yet again. This is Wardlow's first reign on national television and he's had Hager's number anytime they have been in the ring.
And before you jump on their little mma fight they had, YOU would have to be a complete idiot if you actually thought Tony Khan would have Hager lose a fake fight when he is a real fighter that actually competes in the sport.
It's like they purposely booked the match in the way that they did, just to give Hager a win.

FTR is the best tag team in pro wrestling. Proud and Powerful have gotten better, but still has a way to go. The Bucks and New Day wouldn't be listed in the top 10 to 15 of current teams.
You know the one tough thing bout AEW is that they have literally so many talented wrestlers that at times you wish they all could win but you know there has to be a loser but even in a loss some wrestlers are still put over but you want to see them win. Like I’m glad Wardlow got the dub but I would like Proud n Powerful to win but it keeps the story goin so like I get but still.

The Usos didn't shift in their attitude and gear until around 2015. They followed after their father and uncles (Rikishi, Afa, and Sika, respectively).
Santana and Ortiz have kept the same style since their debut as a team in 2012. Didn't matter where they went, they have always been EYFBO, with or without the name.
Both teams have some fantastic talent.
