- 7" single Go Steady / Cortinas / Listen Listen Listen (Rocket) 1979
"Go Steady" written by Jez Bird
Lambrettas is often considered as mod revival band. They were active between 1979-1982 ... several singles and two LPs were released. This "Go Steady" is the first and the biggest success came with the cover version of The Coasters' song "Poison Ivy" (Top-10 hit in UK / 1980).
Lambrettas :
Jez Bird (vocals,guitar),
Doug Sanders (guitar,vocals),
Mark Ellis (bass)
Paul Wincer (drums)

This is the first time I have heard this song. Odd it didn't chart as it's a great effort.
