What card are you hoping to pull in your first booster box?
I ordered a theme deck, but I do want to try and get one of the stellar rares in that box
Really love what you've done with the game. If you wouldn't mind, I'm working on a game myself and I would like to know where did you get yours printed? I have tried a couple different printers but the quality morso felt like prototype
I will say, one thing that I've always found a bit tedious with only opening packs is that you end up running low on the mana/energy cards for decks. Like for Pokemon for example, unless you egt like an ETB or something that has a ton of energy in it, 1 energy of any of the 7+ different types makes it so that you end up running low on energy for a new potential deck that you want to make, if you're only opening packs. So, I think in the future, it could be good to either: A. make it so packs have maybe a 1 in 2 chance (or something reasonable) to contain a second spirit that replaces a common, or B. Maybe introduce a spirit bundle that includes, idk, maybe 10 of each spirit (so 50 total i believe) for a little bit more than a booster pack. If a booster sells for aroudn $3.99 (just giving a price for the sake of example, not saying this is the actual price), then maybe for $7.99 you can get the bundle of 10 spirits. It'll be reasonably affordable, but also a good way to allow competitive players to restock their spirit supply, without needing to open potentially hundreds of packs to get enough of 1 or 2 types of spirits to build the deck they wanna build.
Isn't that the point of the "starter decks" or whatever they may be termed between games? This would have been an issue in MTG or Pokemon too if people refused to buy decks in the beginning just spending all their money toward hopefully landing something rare vs actually wanting to play the game itself. Once this gets a couple series in there will be plenty of spirit cards in a 10 cent box at your local card shop to make a deck if you lean toward the collector side vs the actual player side of the game.
@@diomedes8625 True, but ultimately there'd still be a shortage of energy cards (or whatever that mechanic is callled in any of the various tcg) for you. Especially if you're in the competitive scene and you have a slew of different decks for use, you shouldn't have to spend a decent amount of money on a starter deck that you already bought 5 times before JUST for the energy. True, when you're first starting out, then yeah the starter decks are good, but once you start making dozens of different decks with different playstyles, that's when you start to really run low. I just think a way to guarantee you get nothing but energy/spirits/mana/whatever is better than having 500 copies of the same cards bc you keep buying the same starter deck over and over. Like, if a starter deck costs a GENEROUS $10, and 20 out of 60 cards is energy (taking pokemon into example), then you're spending $10 to get roughly $3.34 of actual use out of the box, then all the others you MIGHT be able to seel for a dollar or two of your money back. It's just not worth it to do that. If I misunderstood, then let me know, but from the way I see it, it would benefit everyone just to introduce a spirit pack as mentioned previously. More money for Dan, and more spirits to allow us to use in making many, many different decks for competitive use.

How can you tell the rarity of the cards? So excited to open up packs when they come!
The bottom bar of the card shows different energy displays which indicate rarity! It’s in our how to play guide
Is there a chance the boxes can be mapped?, It looks like it by the fact that all the holos where in the back. But maybe it's just one box and not all of them are like that
I did specify for the factory to not map the boxes, we won’t know until hundreds of people open them but I don’t think they will be

What are the different rarities of cards called in elestral?
If you are making a standard card deck out of nothing but packs, what would you recommend for the optimal number of packs in order to have a good selection of cards to choose from? I need to go refresh my memory on what the standard number of cards is in an elestral deck and how many cards you get per pack. I'm really hoping I get a chance to buy a booster box of the kickstarter set but have a feeling there won't be any extras. I'll have to wait to 1st set comes out before buying any packs.
It is odd that all of the hollows were the bottom half of the box. I hope the mixture in the box would be better or everyone will be digging for the bottom half only.
So how much of a complete set did you get from this box? You did say you were disappointed with the lack of variety in the packs. For a completion person like myself, having a wider variety of cards per pack would make it easier to have at least one of each card. For someone who is competitive, having the same card show up in 60% of the packs may be a good thing IF it is a card which is needed in the deck. The opposite would be true meaning that the competitor would be highly irritated by getting the same card they don't\can't use in the current deck. Once Elestrals is out for a year or more, then hopefully the overall market for the game will be decent enough where people will be able to buy\sell individual cards. I do wonder how the market will price the individual cards.

Elestrals was announced July 31 2022. It began dev on January 1 2022 as an idea by aDrive.
Kickstarter was in December and we are fulfilling our Kickstarter now. We hope to have product for sale by September! 1st edition will be around October

I absolutely am, I got a case and 2 extras so I have a case to open and 2 to keep sealed, I basically got enough product that I’ll have 2 of everything to keep sealed over 3 different orders to get a play set of the promos lol
