Do you know why I happened to watch this video? It's because it just happened to come up in my CZcams feed AND, because it's 114 degrees outside to day.
95 degrees in Arizona boarders on jacket weather. Last night at midnight it was 91 degrees where I live, and the sun wasn't even shining.
I was out fishing on Monday though. The temperature only got up to 105 degrees. I got five bites but only brought in one of those bites.
Sorry for rambling on, it's just that I always get a kick out of hearing folks from other parts of the country complaining about 95 degrees being hot.
I wish it was 95 degrees here in the AZ desert. That would be awesome.

      @@timmontano8792 haha that’s cool.
Very true about different parts of the country 95 is pretty hot here in the Midwest. How is the fishing out there in Arizona? Never been there

@@FishermanFred2023 Most of the fishing I do lately is done in irrigation canals that crisscross our city.
Just like just about every other fishery, sometimes I do real well and other times not so much.
The good thing about these artificial rivers is that they are only a short three mile bike ride from my house in just about any direction from my house.

@@timmontano8792 Interesting! The man made bodies of water can be really good. I have never fished them, but here in the Midwest they have something called strip pits. The nearest ones are several hours away from me though. I guess they were long pits dug out many years ago, originally for something to do with coal mining from what I understand. Over the years they filled with water. I’ve heard these pits can contain monster bass
. Definitely want to try them someday.

In the Poconos here, it’s around 80 during the day, low 60’s at night. Is fishing deeper water recommended for bass? I have been using a senko and a spinner bait.
    I’m super new to fishing.

@@starvmarv780 I’ve always heard they go to deeper waters in the heat. I fish ponds almost exclusively though, they’re not very deep. I am still catching the majority of mine very close to the bank and near some type of structure. When I take my kayak out to the deeper parts they are still near some type of weeds etc. I would try to focus your casts near weed lines, rocks, water plants etc that are in the water if you’re a bank fisherman. Keep watch on the weather too. Even on super hot days if you get a bit of wind it can bring on a bite way more than a super hot day with no wind. I’d be curious to hear what the large lake fisherman have to say about this since I mainly fish ponds and very small lakes. Thanks for watching, and welcome to the fishing! Keep at it! 🎣
