Ya, she’s fairly wobbly in the front end, the old cub. Love the engine and gear sounds out of the old tractors. Wheel horse does a great job too. Thanks for the video.
You must have quite a bit of play in the front end of the cub. You could see the tires toe in when he was back dragging. Nice to see it working though.
Thanks for the bonus video Bob! It's great to see a 4th generation using your grandfathers Cub. Your neighbors Wheel Horse would be a little beast with some weight added to it!! LOL!! What are the square sheet metal pieces on the Cub bolted to the torque tube below the hydraulic unit? Thank you again for the video and for your witnessing of the Good News to the viewers!
I just found your channel and subscribed! after 40 years of marriage my wife determined I was worth buying a 1949 cub which I had been drooling over ...it was a complete surprise as the seller drove up the driveway with it on a trailer....thanks for sharing yours!
If you ever do another video on the cub can you also take it so I can see how you get on and off. I would love to own a cub but am not sure if I would be able to get on/off , I am a pretty big guy and just wondering how its done. thanks.
I see the toe way in as the Cub back drags.
Awesome tractor
Hello ! wow what a treat to see this old tractor at work ! 1949 ! wow..... amazing. 🙂
Thank you! We sure enjoy using it.

Thanks for the video.
Had it out last night for awhile...plenty of opportunities to use it this month.🙂

It's does actually...I need to make some adjustments. It could use a new steering gear at some point.
Great video. The old Cub did an amazing job clearing the snow.
Thanks 👍
On the cub , when you get one wheel spinning just put the brake on that spinning wheel and the other wheel will spin with it.
I am sure to be using that option soon enough...a couple of months and the snow will be flying again!😊

My Gramps made a sheath to hold an axe and a box to hold log chains. He was a very creative and skilled man...he could fix/fabricate anything!🙂
I see a lot of people doing things backwards.
I have a '47 Cub, which was the first year Cubs were made, and I push snow, dirt, gravel, etc. with it. It does a decent job.
I really enjoy using my Cubs too!
I read that 1949 was the first year
@@martinrutherford4562 1947 was the first year for the Farmall Cub
@@316jd140 I was wrong , I went back and looked it up they made 501 in 1947
After seeing that snow, I am glad to be Central PA.
It was a dandy!

Sure! My Granddad build a step for this one...I'll make sure to include it in a future bonus video.
@@thisoldbiblewithbobfoust535 thank you!
Wow! The slop in that front end is quite excessive. Might want to address that before it’s too late.
We were actually working on it a couple of weeks ago.😊
I've watched this vid 5 times want a Cub with a plow bad and always dig Wheel Horses
Thanks for watching! They are a pleasure to use!
I love the Lord.
He has done so much for me!
