  • Yogoda Satsanga Sakha Ashram - Noida
Situated in the National Capital Region of Delhi, Yogoda Satsanga Sakha Ashram - Noida is the youngest of the four YSS Ashrams in India dedicated to carrying on the spiritual and humanitarian work of Paramahansa Yogananda, widely revered as the 'Father of Yoga' in the West. His best-selling spiritual classic 'Autobiography of a Yogi' has deeply inspired millions of people across the world, including Steve Jobs who gave it as his last gift during his memorial service and had it as the only book on his iPad.
As I entered the Noida ashram my mind went still as never before. I experienced deep peace. As I entered the basement Dhyan Mandir there was the unmistakable Om vibrations. The main pandal also was full of the sound of Om. Everywhere I went, I had the tangible presence of Divine Mother and Guruji as if I was playing on their lap. Like a little flower, I was always in their hands."
    - A devotee's reflection on her Sangam experience at the Noida Ashram
Inaugurated on January 3, 2010, Noida Ashram has become an important destination for YSS/SRF devotees for individual and group retreats, as well as transit stay in a spiritual environment. As many as 3,200 hundred devotees stayed in the ashram last year. Five-day Sadhana Sangams are held once or twice a year when about 350 devotees from all over the country are accommodated within the ashram.
The ashram consists of an administration block (with Meditation Halls, Reception, Books Room, Library, Counseling Rooms, Dining Hall, and Offices), two retreat blocks (separate for ladies and gents), a big pandal for functions, and grounds for exercise. A central garden resplendent with blossoms and shady trees evokes the sacred feeling of an ancient ashram set amidst sylvan surroundings, saturated with the timeless peace of the ages.
YSS Noida Ashram is open all days. All are welcome to join group meditation and Sunday satsanga.
Reception Timings: 9 am to 5 pm
Dhyana Mandir Timings: 7 am to 7 pm
CONDUCTED GROUP RETREATS, led by Sannyasis, are held regularly, mostly over weekends. These spiritual retreats consist of 2-3 days of silence, morning and evening Energization Exercises and Group Meditation, review of our divine Guru’s techniques of concentration and meditation, Gurudeva’s teachings and How-to-Live principles.
INDIVIDUAL RETREATS are encouraged. Devotees can stay in the ashram for 3-7 days and utilize this period for remaining in silence, introspection, spiritual reading, and for practising the presence of God.
