- We are very psyched to welcome in Tyrese Haliburton for the first time as an in-person guest on The Old Man and the Three. We get into so much with Tyrese and how he sees his season on The Indiana Pacers. Let's get to it.

JJ has gotten so skilled as an interviewer. I noticed during this episode his ability to be super excited in a conversation but also realize he needs to continue the conversation to hit all the points he wants to in an interview, but move the conversation in a natural and respectful way without cutting someone off
Great interview! Tyrese is bright, personable, and charismatic. He has leadership acumen and will do great things in the NBA. I can see him being a GM or executive after his retirement.

I don’t know if this is a dumb idea or not but when it comes to season awards and all-nba I think we should use game averages along with season totals for stats. The NFL does season totals for counting stats typically, so if you miss games your stats aren’t as good. If we took this into account and got rid of the games minimum I think this could work well. Your averages are still looked at and taken into account, and players wouldn’t feel as rushed to get back from injury.
Tyrese is such pleasant player to listen. He has such good point of view about the game and league that I can respect. Also, He is such great player to watch as well.
BTW. it is about time JJ to ditch Richard Jefferson, lol. I liked the JJ and RJ duo thou. It was lot fun listening two guys bantering each other. I 100% sure JJ won't do that with Doris.

I feel like the all nba issue it should be a bonus while on the rookie contract, then slotted in on your next contract. Gives teams a break when slammed against the cap for drafting right, while still paying players. Then gives them time to adjust when they are due for the next contract.
