- I took a chance on an 87 International s1900 dump truck at an auction. It needed very little work and has already been a huge help to me. I think I will be keeping this one for awhile.
Please be sure to like and subscribe! Thanks! - Jak na to + styl
I just got done watching this and the new vid, good stuff. Shouse is looking solid. That's nice having an onboard air hookup.
Now this was a pretty good video bossman......keep them coming ! Thank you ! 😎
Good score on the dump truck.
I like what you have done to your property! Also good deal on the bobtail!
Wait to you see the shop that is going up right now
Keep the videos coming my new friend 😎
Great video! Nice angles and good continuity. Music choices are spot on. Really enjoyed it. Good luck with the new dump truck.
It's my first time watching you.
Since you and Andrew Camarma that's my first time watching you I enjoy
Your channels.
Matt at Diesel Creek 💯🐾👍
Let's Dig love watching Chris he was the first of you guys I ever watched
Love it 💯🐾👍🐾
Looks like a nice little dump truck
Nice work brother! 👌
One of the best vids you have produced by far even though you had missing footage understood the story of the purchase and use of the truck and use of the backhoe in the middle of the story cause you continued on to the loading of the truck hopefully you haven't regretted the purchase
Thanks, hearing that makes it worth all the time it took to shoot and edit.
Great video. I’m surprised by all the advice in the comments lol. Keep doing what you’re doing. Cheers from Maine.
Looks sweet 🎈
good music. when you hammer in the new bearing scale, use the old scale on top of it to hammer it down.
Things are easier to do when you have a dump truck. Good stuff!
Yeah, Like dumping things.
I love this Truck!!!!
Good to see you. Your like me you half to do 10 things to do the one you need to. Good job 👍
Trying to get more reliable equipment to fix that
Man what a sweet deal, I’m looking now for the same deal to come along.
U need a race driver set.Love the video.
I had the same truck. Good truck. Dt466 good engine. I got it for $3000.00. I used to drive it saying to myself I'm gonna find out one day why I got it so cheap. Never gave me a problem tho
I was expecting a video full of fixes, but everything works. Nice that you can use it right away. And that doggo deserves more time in front of the camera: D
I was expecting the same thing. Might be the nicest vehicle I ever got. The doggo is a complete nut and just hangs out constantly. His name is Murphy.
Nice video
Good video by the way.
last thing I need is something helping move me toward buying a dump truck, thanks a lot man
Go buy one. They are a blast.
@@PossumKing 😫
Nice truck from a auction for $3,600 for sure. Video quality is top notch now my from
Sorry meant ^my friend^ lol not my from
OH & the DUMP TRUCK it is a good one like it has been said INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS are not bad ones at all I used to DRIVE a INTERNATIONAL DUMP TRUCK for my local city & really had no complaints about it the one I drove the GAS BURNING 345 V 8 with a 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION with a 2 SPEED REAR END like yours has the one I drove was 1978 model & some were a little older than that but all had the 345 V 8 with 4 & 5 SPEEDS in them then they bought those new 1980 MODEL FORD F 700 DUMP TRUCKS those were JOKES they had the 370 V 8 s with a 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC OVERDRIVE & would not pull a HAIR OFF YOUR HEAD they were WEAK they also had some CHEVROLET 6500 SERIES TRUCKS with a 366 V 8 with a 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION with DUAL EXHAUST that would run CIRCLES around any TRUCK there they had 4 BARREL CARBURATORS on them they did like all of them had GOVERNORS on them
I had a 366 in a stake body dump. It never ran right, I didn't do much to it. I sold it because I didn't really need it. I needed a dump truck like I bought here
That’s a sweet looking dump truck, love International trucks, there my favorites. Maybe you need more hydraulic fluid in it.
I cover that in the video
He is for sale
Never reach under a dump box with out stuffing in a couple pieces of blocking at the rear..... I owned an excavating/house moving business since 1972. Good luck in your endeavors.......ps ... I got bored in retirement, so I have been buying a few pieces of equipment again, lol
I was binge watching house/building moves on CZcams a few months ago. I'm not sure I would have the patience for a job like that, but it is definitely neat to see played out in a 30 minute video
@@PossumKing Trust me you could do it. But the real money and quick too, is in ‘floor leveling’/new trunk beams and floor joist work. House moving is just a ‘calling card’ and free advertising for the floor leveling/ foundation repair business....best wishes Gary in Michigan !
Not sure if you tried this or if you got that bed fixed going up and down but I actually opened up the cylinder housing underneath there’s a nut and fill that up by itself I had the same issue with a smaller Dump Truck I had I felt that up and works like brand new now even though my reservoir was filled
No reservoir on this truck. I fixed it. It's on the video
Congrats on getting the Dump Truck. if u would of put the bearing race in the freezer, it would of went on better.
Damn rib-it-up boy
Lil hyd. Juice your good to go
Got lucky on that one
What auction did you get it from? That was a good deal.
I bet you knew when the steering wheel went to dancing a bit it was a crooked wheel or the bearing and the mud in the oil cap kinda took the guess out of that. I forget the name of those type wheels, nothing against them except getting them centered so they roll straight. I hate the brake system on the old corn queens as they are nothing but expensive to repair if you can find the parts. I had one with a three hundred cummins and it was a real sweetheart to drive. Never enough power but easy to maintain. Good find.
Trued up the front wheels a bit and that took care of it mostly.
dayton style rims
was there no washer between the outer bearing and the first spindle nut?
I don't remember
Cool
What about the axle grease. Should yoy pack the bearings.
Oil hubs, not grease
I have a 1981 International dump. Looks like a twin same colour. I lost a front wheel stud and nut. Can you help me find one ?
Call a heavy duty part store
Do u need a CDL to operate a truck like this, even if u are just using it for personal ranch purposes.
I'm not sure. There are loopholes I'm sure. I have a CDL so I didn't look into it.
if the vehicle weighs 26,000 pounds then yes with very few exceptions federally and depending on the state laws as well
It's under 26,000lbs so no CDL is needed for public road use. On private land, you can do as you want with equipment.
I doubt that it has the 8.2 liter Detroit because International mostly put there own engines in them.
It's a 466 all day.
Did you put enough grease on those bearings?
You referring to the wheel bearing that is oil hubs? Lol
International s1900 dt466
You based in Pennsylvania? How many miles on the new truck?
Don't remember. A lot. Like 280k maybe. Them motors and a dime a dozen
surprised at all the grease the bearing comments lol
cross threaded or not you oiled them baerings shoulda bin grease
wrong
The best SKID LOADER or LOADER like that you can buy is a BOB CAT they are dependable & get the job done right & have more POWER that the rest of them other than ones like a JOHN DEER CASE or TOP NOTCH MACHINES if I were to purchase one it would be one of the above mentioned ones
I was not impressed with New Holland loaders, But my bobcat was down so I used a buddies loader.
Where do you live? Some of those road shots look real familiar.
Central PA
I have a body like that just leave the body up and fill it ,put something in the hinge so it can’t come down .
Has a prop. I just always forget to use it
Red diesel you outlaw
Farm use
LOL
Only if it had a 2 stroke Detroit in it
Looks like Andrew Camerata's truck.
About the same size. Yes
That's what I thought 😁👍 property is similar too.. lol
naw, andrews is a Ford.
Lot like Andrew Camarma Truck. Love Andrew Camarma 💯🐾🐾🐾
@@PossumKingque motor tiene
Do you need a cdl to drive this?
Probably
Raise the bed and block it so it can't come down and add hyd.fluid
Adjust the PTO cable
Sounds like it’s low on hydraulic fluid
Air in your lift cylinder
Damn boy never been around equipment before
Never!
@@PossumKing well act like it
Wouldn't have bought that. Most likly low on hydraulic fluid. I'm surprised that it even runs. Can't believe u didn't even know the shift patterns
Do you know how many shift patterns there are on trucks? This truck is one of my best purchases I ever made
@@PossumKing lol lol.yes I'd and in my opinion there are way to many. I hope it does work out great for u.
@@michaelkoop6731 everything should have a 13 or 18 speed Eaton
Oh look, another Andrew camarata lol
You should checkout another CZcamsr on here Andrew Camarata. He does similar stuff to what you do. I thought it was his old truck you got here but his is a Ford not International. Check out his videos. He is prob my favorite CZcamsr.
I have a video of me meeting him. He is a true inspiration
going to want to get rid of that dot number and get not for hire if you’re going to be putting off road in it.... big fines
It just wasn't paint over yet in this video
never mind.
Are u selling it?
No, unless you got like $30k.
Rubber engine block:)
Whats up with the gun. ?
What do you mean?
It's low on oil
also remember that if it’s loaded, it’s tarped
not in this video it wasnt!
r u related to Andrew Camarata ??
No
Cdl or non cdl
CDL he needs manual endorsement, air brakes if he has them and for weight 👉 czcams.com/video/zOMdQfZNGfQ/video.html
CDL. 10 ton load, 15klb truck. air brakes.
What's up
Nice truck but be careful showing yourself on video fulling up an on-road truck with red diesel.
Farm use
For sell?
Yeah. $30k haha. This one is a keeper
@@PossumKing lol you wished... it's a nice one I have one just like it... 2 speed Eaton an Dt 466... it's a truck you can work on no garbage on it!! Great find!!
Low on hydraulic fluid
Yup. It's a closed loop system, meaning no resivour so any fluid loss limits it. Haven't had to touch it since I bought it though so no big deal
Hi
Spend that fuck money
Can we hear the air horn
Idk, can you?
@@PossumKing let's hear the air horn please
Really
You got scammed if you paid 3800 I paid 500 for a 76
I bet it's in better condition than mine with only 30,000 miles too.
PossumKing no mine has 97000 miles and is rustier than sh*t,the doors are just brown not white and the dump bed has a big brown stripe going down the middle, plus the glove box has no door and the low and high switch is broken
@@teenageredneck4771 I don't think I got scammed. The truck is in great condition and but rotted out. Hard to find dump trucks that are rusted out from salt... And they aren't cheap when you do find them.
PossumKing I hear but you said in the video that it didn’t go al the way up I’m saying you should’ve paid a couple hundred less cause mine go all the way up, and every thing work perfect
PossumKing I’ve seen good ones sell for 500 hundred ones that look like yours
Way too old no air conditioner
Yeah it does. You just gotta wind it down
