I met Butch Patrick 2 years ago. He loved doing the show, and is such a genuinely nice guy. He even showed us his Munster Coach replica and started it up for us.

When I was a kid, it made my day every time they fed the dragon under the stairs!

I loved when the two old ladies ran out of the house, when they saw "Spot", hopped the fence, and burned rubber, in their old woodie!!
What's funny is having male stuntmen performing the stunts.
I could easily imagine that there are old ladies just like them. Plus you don't feel sorry for them because they are crooks.

The show would never have been the same without that old Victorian house, it was a part of the Munsters. Amazing none of Eddie's classmates wondered why he dressed as some rich Edwardian era kid. The 2 old ladies looking at the house reminded me of the Baldwin sisters of The Waltons.
Or the two old ladies in Mayberry that r moonshiners.

It subjests haunted and graveyard because if you seen a ghost passing through a graveyard he would probably be dressed that way because he died in another error.
This show had solid acting from the cast

The world is good when I watch the Munsters.
As many times I seen these shows, I still crack up when those old ladies hats zoom up off their heads and scream when they see spot and jump over the Munsters fence like track athletes and race off in there car just too hilarious, the prop department and writers were great as well of course the actors.
Spot is a awesome household pet!

There were two little side gags that I always loved: one in the Addams family when Gomez wrecked the Lionels, and the other was Spot the Dragon.

As a bit of trivia for you guys, whenever Gomez wrecks the model trains, its always the same clip that is shown. The director shot an actual model train wreck ONCE but it was complicated. So every time Gomez did it in subsequent episodes, its the exact same film. If you watch carefully, the scene abruptly cuts from Gomez and whoever is with him to a closeup of the wreck.

what a cool show..I love the decor and the black and white filming..their acting was exceptional..I love their costumes..such a creative show...I love it..I know someone who looks like Fred Gwynne.
Like the time Lilly was mad at Spot. He snuck out of the house, ate all the trash cans in the alley and drank all the water out of the neighbor's pool.
Nobody moves to Buffalo to get ahead. LOL
I didn't want to them to Buffalo. The whole episode kept me on pins and needles as a kid. So happy when they didn't move.

You can't tell me that the MUENSTERS isn't one of the funniest,well written series of all time!! There will never ever be any series like this!! 👍 The episode with a man looking under the hood of his car, when he sees 👀 Herman, he jumps under the hood and closes it!!! I see absolutely no comparison to the ADDAMS FAMILY!! Never saw anything comical about that show. To each his own!!

I am glad I watched this when new. It is a beloved classic. Everyone watching it knows the Munsters won't move to Buffalo, that old dusty house is part of the show. The two old women who go to the house remind me of the Baldwin sisters on The Waltons.

Love how at the end of this episode when herman tries to talk Dennison into giving the house back. He thinks him and his crew run off because he killed them with kindness not realizing they freaked out when he pushed the bulldozers away and spun the wrecking ball around like it was a soccer ball.
Spot was one of my favourites!
