Sometimes CZcams algorithms send me down a weird and interesting hole. Now while I can't relate to being adopted I am someone who has lived on the other side of your spectrum. I was physically and mentally abused as a child. This was in the 70s and 80s so a bit before your time. My mother was not ready to be a mother when she had me. I ended up dropping out of high school and was on my own as a young teenager. Those early years of my life shaped who I am today. To this day I am much more comfortable being alone than in the company of other people. I use to wonder if my family gave me up for adoption would my life would of been more normal. From my perspective your birth parents made a responsible decision to do what is best for you.
