  • Dear friends and family I hope you're all doing well and keeping safe. Here's a very delicious black eye peas stew recipe that I know will be a big hit with anyone who eats it! Hopefully you loaded up on the beans and will be able to whip this up sooner than later. Continue to stay healthy and safe. Wash wash your hands and stay home please.
    Ingredients:
    1 Lb black eyed beans/ peas (2 cups)
    3 large tomatoes
    2 small habanero pepper
    About 6 regular sized shallots
    1 6lb salmon fillet, grilled
    3 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
    150 g salted lamb (I think I said beef throughout the video)
    3 large ripe (yellow or sweet) plantains
    oil for frying plantain

    I'm Africa American and my grandmother would always make black-eyed peas with cornbread and greens 😊. She was a great cook.

    I’m an American watching while eating your jollof rice with your Cornish hens recipe! I am enjoying learning to cook my favorite dishes with you!       @@rizzymay450 am ghanaian. I dont cook with pepper unless it light soup and i make it very mild. I cant stand spicy föod.i dont taste amy other ingredient in food when theres pepper. Some ghanaians find that strange of me.

    I'm from Cameroon and my other half is Nigerian...I have come to the realisation that most West African dishes are similar and very very tasty. Beans and plantain is a favourite dish in our house. God bless you for sharing this 🙏

      @@KwankyewaasKitchen you can add a coconut milk and a small spoon of cumin, paprika, curcuma ,coriandre and persil for more the taste . But your naturel way of coking is very good also . Thank you so much.

    It looks really delicious, I’m going to try it with coconut oil, i’m staying with my daughter at the moment but I can’t wait until I move out so I can really make this because some of my grandchildren are very picky I don’t like onions, but I love them and all of the different meals that you make. I’m going to try them on. I love plantain also because I like to make that fufu with an opera soup

    I do cook beans Stew but not with coconut oil. This is a must try. When you showed the food on the fork to the camera I felt like chopping it from my phone. Well done. There is nothing like home made food ooo..

    I grew up on field peas in alabama, ate black eye peas, once in a while, down south we make whats called pot liquor with our peas
