New suite from the recording sessions of The Thin Red Line. There was over 5 hours of music, with for instance 30+ minutes of Wild Bowls or alternates cues etc. So I kept everything that wasn't in the official CD and in my previous suite, the very best and made this mix. Enjoy.

Some years ago, there was a file in internet with 5 hours of music by Hans Zimmer, which differents varients of ost not included in the film. Like me he probably got it 😊.
Robiere84360 i remember that 5 hours video...i was listening to it...but i believe our friend here has even more rare themes...for example i dont remember this to be in the five hours video...but i also might be wrong...anyway...its just great to have all this rare unreleased versions!!!!!
Guys, i remember that 5 hour video as well. It got flagged for copyright and was removed. There very many alternate takes on that video that did not make it into the official RCA Victor album. That 5 hour video was a rare gem!

@@m1ke1981 its the most -official- complete release we will get to have....one of the 4 cds is the original score that we all already have since 1998...the other one is malesian songs that you hear in the movie and the other 2 cds is music that you hear in the movie but was not in the original score...i had find them in youtube in small split songs...but now we have everything in one big oficial cd release..

Can you make you post a link to this collection? I have two bootleg versions of TRL with outtakes, but this one isn't on either. What a gorgeous piece! The other collections I have contain some voiceovers too, which i find annoying. All of these outtakes further bolster the view that Zimmmer's work for this film remains his crowning achievement.
