    Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I anxiously await your comments about knots. According to my grandmother, knots were taboo. I grew up believing the reverse side of my cross stitch, embroidery and quilting by hand should look as good as the front. Thank you for alluding to the fact it does not. I thought I was taking a day off from my hooks....not now😊😊. Thank you again and I see another baby blanket beginning in a few minutes 💕💕

      Ha ha! I hope your day is relaxing with this one Vivian. In crochet you can work over the knots and as I like to say, "cover a multitude of sins" in the process. There are other methods, but knots are forever, other methods are not, (not pun intended!).

      IF you want your blanket 3 times longer, can't you just multiply the original chain by 3?? ( Like 105 would be 315?) Am I not thinking correctly??

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Před 5 lety +5

      @@lauriekennady4395 If you want to add width, add in multiples of 8. for the length, just continue to repeat rows 2-5 until you reach the desired length. The reason you can't just double the starting chain is because this number accounts for the starting chain and the last stitch. You don't need to add these again to add to the width. I hope this makes sense! As a crochet designer I use a lot of math and sometimes algebra.
