The African National Congress held high-stakes internal talks about which parties it should approach to form South Africa's next government. A 27-member ANC working committee weighed alternatives among a list of scenarios. However, the options that it stares at, are diametrically opposite to what the ANC stands for. According to a report in the South African outlet Daily Maverick, the ANC is considering three forms of power-sharing alliance. But it must decide before June 16, by when South Africa's new parliament must convene. As Cyril Ramaphosa is set to face resignation pressure, what options does the ANC have?
