Me too🥺 I’ve also shown signs of it bc I had a Pinterest board of just picnics and another called “glossy” with some cottagecore type photos in it. I’ve always also just been into nature and animals/farms. I feel complete like I finally found my style!!

If I was a young unmarried girl out in the woods with my favorite novel, and happened to stumble upon you picking flowers, I would instantly fall in love, but I would be too afraid to talk to you.

Since I live with my family owning a private forest here’s my morning routine:
-Wake up to birds chirping, and poofy pink bedding in a white room with a fireplace.
-Change into dress or poofy shirt and dress, no shoes or black flats.
-Greet family in dining room
-pack a picnic basket of some picnic items 🧺
-Walk outside and greet goats, ducks, farm cat, dogs.
-Head to the near by pond, sit and read on a cleaned up tree by the water.
-run in the flowers, sing to myself and spot some deer.
-do my school work in my tree house (homeschooled because small cozy town doesn’t have a good school and I love staying in the forest)
-Pick flowers.
-head home to help my mother with dinner
-Greet my dad who’s home from work
-Eat food, change into nightgown after shower
-Sit by the fireplace and read, write etc.
-Head to bed :)
Sry if I’m bragging, I just recently moved here w my family when my grandpa got to old to live here, I’m still so excited to have the freedom :)

Ok ok but hear me out: the hype house but it’s a bunch of different aesthetics.
We could have a huge house in between the country and the city so it’s fair for all of the people’s aesthetics, but it has to have woods near it. We could each have a room and have a theme and we could always be talking about frogs and bread.

This is so cute! I think it's so sweet that it's becoming popular to wear similar styles to what our grandmothers and great grandmothers used to wear. It's so lovely that we get to appreciate just how pretty vintage styles really are! Question though, do you ever feel a little awkward going out to the store or something in cottagecore? Would love to try this style myself one day.
Honestly, not anymore! I would've felt subconscious about it in High school but i find that when i dress whimsical I feel the most myself and receive the most compliments (Even from strangers on the street!!). I think just being happy with what you're wearing really shines though 🤗

I love the whole Cottage core vibe, my favorite color is green and I’m trying to find cute pieces on a budget and recommendations?
For me honestly I find the best cottagecore pieces while thrifting!!! ♥ So I think that would be great! Simons (Canadian) is great too, Yesstyle (online) has lots of cottagecore clothes but beware that sizing is small often and it is like H&M quality, and Zara is good too! That being said on a budget I would opt for thrifting (or depop/poshmark/vinted/fb marketplace) since its the most eco-friendly!!! 🤗🌿 plus it always feels so special

a lil fyi: free people is not a brand to support! (obviously i don't know whether those pieces were new or not) but like most fast fashion brands, they're unethical, and in stores they are racists to their BIPOC customers/employees yet like to use a "token poc" for their instagram/website.

well I’ll say first: I think the more exposure and confidence you have with your side profile, the more you’ll like it! So try to push yourself 🤍 I used to be like this with my birthmark (above my eyebrow) and it’s a thing not many people notice but we can be so critical of, ourselves.
and yes of course there are more hairstyle ideas! You could do half up half down, two braids, a braid from your bangs, flower crowns, hair bands etc!
