The 5G SIM encrypts the digital identity of the end user (SUCI) avoiding its clear transmission and malicious interception on 5G network.
Cyber resilience
The new 5G SIM OS manages authentication credentials rotation initially provisioned in the SIM in factory. It restores a trustful security level all over the subscription lifecycle without reissuing a new SIM card in case sensitive credential is compromised in the operator network.
