Ye man I know how you feel. This song hit me hard as well. I wasn't close with my dad as well and we had a bad relationship. But then he was conditioned with heart disease and needed surgery. Thankfully the surgery went well and legit my dads perspective on life changed. He became more nice and open. Like although he had surgery on his heart, I feel like it opened his heart in a sense. I feel like this sort of near-death situation put my dad in a different perspective for what life is and why its something everyone should value. We became close and best believe we have a good relationship. I understand when you say stuff like your dad has never really been there for you and I get that. I may not understand your situation but I just hope for the best for you and your life man. Don't feel down man. I'm sure you have other people in your life that are supportive and care for you!

Eminem literally got me through my teenage years. I had such shitty childhood that when I got to my teenage years I didn’t know what to do with myself and all the feeling I was feeling. When I was 14 I saw this music video on tv and I BARELY spoke English back then but somehow it just did something to me. The beautiful thing about music is that you can interpret it however you want and get what you want out of it and Eminem has so many different types of songs from deep to sad to funny and angry and it just helped me get my emotions out without acting out. It was so great to hear someone put into words how I was feeling. I’m 28 now and just hearing his voice gives me so much nostalgia. He will forever be the GOAT ❤️
I remember once I was riding the subway home from work and I just discovered the song Kim and it was like 11:00pm I had it on blast on my headphones and I was sitting next to an old person and he kept looking at me all upset, I didn’t know what his problem was and after I replayed the song like 3 times he tapped me and said if I could put it down because he can hear everything and when I took off the headphones I realized it was really loud(it was surprisingly quiet in the subway). I was a 17 year old white skinny girl who looked 13 so it was pretty embarrassing lol I bet he thought I was a runaway demon child 😂

Decade later and this song hits harder than ever now that I'm a dad with 2 young daughters. Sweew, it hit me right in the heart 😔. I am a single dad, so it can be really tough sometimes on that daily grind. So worth it though. Especially picking my oldest up from school, seeing how happy she is to see me and her little sister.
