We continue our series on performing art music on the piano with Neyzen Salim Dede's Hicaz Peşrevi in ​​the Fahte Style. This hicaz peşrev is the most popular peşrev and has been included in the recordings of many artists as a house-delivery. The long sentences it contains show why the work was written in the 20-time fahte style. Over time, the work has become an indispensable prelude in the hijaz fasıls, and perhaps has moved away from the spiritual atmosphere of the time and place in which it was composed. Two types of notes on the internet make us think that the simpler one is closer to the original, while the more colorful and lively version makes you feel the change that the work has undergone over time.
