PARTY AT BIRCHWOOD MEADOW - McKenzie and Craig's Wedding

My first wedding of 2024 is in the books, and it was a fun one to start off with! McKenzie and I met when she officiated Katie and Gordon's wedding, where she absolutely KILLED IT as the ceremony MC! And Katie's wedding must have gone well, because McKenzie got practically all the same vendors! I got to hang with my friends Diana and Claire of Swatch Studios, and Mike Baginski of Decorative Sound was spinning the tunes, and Katie planned and coordinated. It was an awesome reunion!
McKenzie and Craig were such an excellent couple. McKenzie's bubbly and fun personality complimented Craig's thoughtful and relaxed demeanor, and the two of them can throw one heck of a party! While McKenzie's dad was absent from the proceedings, it was clear that he was present in the minds and hearts of all his friends and family.
A highlight for me was when McKenzie did what would have been her Daddy-Daughter Dance. Her grandfather stepped in to dance with her, but he wasn't the only one. Throughout the song, several important men in McKenzie's life stepped up to dance with her, telling the story of their support and love for this new couple. Got me a little teary-eyed, not gonna lie.
