Great job! I just removed my tone pot and moved my 3 way toggle switch to the hole the tone pot was in and moved the volume pot to the hole the toggle switch was in so it left 1 open hole and I plan to install a LED kill switch just like this! Thanks for the tutorial!
You can use a toggle to do push for audio or push to kill, kinda gives you twice as many options with same amount of holes drilled into your guitar. You use an on/off/on switch or just an on /on and swap it from already being grounded to not being grounded and the momentary switch will work to function in either like that. Anywho hope this makes sense to anyone reading the comments
Mine came with no colored dot... BUT it does have a + and - in the plastic for the LED leads.
Looks like the plastic got chewed up , are there no washers to tighten that up?

Just use a regular switch without leds.

150-200 ohm resistor
We need a batery for led or led can work without batery?
Yes. You’ll need a battery for the LED.

Shhh don't tell anybody I told ya'. Next time cheat...and don't even risk melting the pick guard. Put that Hot N Nasty old solder on a section of conductive adhesive shielding tape off the guard big enough to take the solder and insure the conductive adhesive lives. Move it to the pick guard and start the celebration.
