At a Store where I first started after finishing school, We had a baler that we flattened the empty boxes down and crushed in the baler, and the bales weighed around 200 pounds each usually, giving them to a recycler every week about 3 or 4 bales every week.
Grill: you come into my store to buy one cheese? Get out of my store!
Customer: Geeze! The cashier sure is grumpy today.

Also now that the storage is unlocked it would be awesome if all the products you ordered instantly goes there instead of being stacked outside like a jenga tower
Keep on talking about your old jobs, it is actually entertaining to hear the stories of what you had to do! By the way, if you keep forgetting to put the prices on new products I'm going to end up having a coronary 😂😂😂
They should come up with a hand scanner for ordering products that way you you don't have to keep running back and forth, or maybe an inventory tracker on the computer for the products you selling at the time.
No quarters(25c) were harmed during the making of this video.
Also... I'm curious about what your store layout would look like if you rotated your checkout stations 90degrees(towards the products)

I'm a manager at a seasonal market, and during our busy seasons I'm lucky if I get a bathroom break during my shift, let alone an actual break! (Also, I love hearing your retail stories as I can relate to alot of it.)
I made up a checklist of goods for stocking so I don't have to rely on my bad memory for it, especially god for when you get even more goods.
Great video. Now that you have the storage room you will start to enjoy it more. You will need to get lights for the storage room too. I would recommend buying 5 toilet paper at a time. I would recommend buying extra of products that you know are good sellers.
there should be a auto buy that you could add items that you order everyday or often.

Some cool ideas I'd like to see sales if the game detects that you arnt selling alot of a certain product the manufacturer would offer you a sponsored sale so you can mark the price down but the manufacturer will compinasate the difference (or however stores do it irl) another is buying in bulk they could provide a discount for huge bulk orders to encourage stockpiling in mid to late game. More store costimization like painting the walls and doing the floor and maybe even colouring the shelfs oh and those produce stands would be cool and those awesome stacked can displays

That storage place looks awesome, but I hope they add a picture of the item to the side of the boxes so when they’re on the rack you can see what’s actually in your back room. (I wrote this comment literally seconds before you mentioned the same complaint. Lol). Especially since they don’t have an inventory list anywhere. Still, the space in that storage room is cool, and I’m glad to see new products, too. I do think you’ll end up having to expand the store before bringing in more new products, just because of how much needs to be on a shelf to keep customers happy. Like having a full shelf of toilet paper is completely necessary, imo. It just sells so quickly. Which I like. There’s also something very relaxing about checking out the customers, so I’m in no hurry to see you get another employee. 😂 Either way, I just look forward to seeing the next video already. Completely understand why so many people are playing this game. It really is addictive.
Also, this place really does remind me of a dollar store, especially with all the boxes around. Pretty sure I’ve also seen really off brand products in those stores, too, so these items would be right at home there. Lol

You should arrange your shop by cart. So you go through buying stuff easily.
Also move the cashier to somewhere else or the same place looking towards the entrance. I think you have clearing.

It would be cool to have a cart option with a set count. Like flour you need (8x4) 32 number. In the list you should be able to set 32 and if you have 16 left it should automatically add the remaining 16. Or when you have an uneven stack like 21. Cart should be 1 stack. so you don't over by and leave you some work to think about it. Do i want more or its fine.
You need more lights it's so dark at night the store looks creepy

I don't see the point of storage in this game.putting boxes everywhere just feels more convenient.It's not like the customers are complaining or it makes them glitchy. And It's not too many boxes as well.
I felt the same. It's basically the same walking distance whether you order or get it from storage. All I use it for is store the extra stuff I buy when the price is low

With having to run back and forth I'd ligit forget more then i already do x.x
People have tried to put the computer in the store room, including me, and unfortunately you can't put it back there.
Most of the video shows the store closed. If you open and stock you would show more progress during the video. I still enjoy though.
