- In this video, I talked about the whole scenario of Sunoo receiving unjustified hate. I tried to explain the reasons behind the hate, the impact it has on Sunoo and the steps we can take to address and combat this kind of negativity in the K-pop community. Not only Sunoo but every member of enhypen gets hate for some some reason. We as their fans, need to know and discuss the importance of spreading positivity and support for our favorite idols and protecting them from this hate because depression has been significantly affecting kpop idols and other people in general as well. I am an original engene from watching i-land and the making of Enhypen opened the door for me to the whole world of k-pop and I feel all the richer for that. Sunoo was lovely and sweet when on i-land but now he is maturing and he is certainly not fat!! Love them all and I am so glad for their success and I wish them well in the future.

Sunoo is a beautiful person. He is one of the most 'non toxic masculine' people. He is sassy and if you ask me he is the mood maker of Enhypen. His voice is amazing. If he is fat, then what are the real fat people (people like me)? He can be whatever he wants to be. He is kind. He is everything, that toxic people are not. I just hope he is protected. There could be other instances, but one of the major reasons Jake got a lot of hate was that he wore a necklace during a manifesto promotion on a music show that had a religious meaning (to Muslims I think?), and it offended a lot of people. Personally, I think the stylist is more at fault because I don’t believe the members can choose what they wear on music shows. Many people were upset saying that he should’ve been better educated but seeing that the necklace was written in another language I don’t think we should expect him to know any better. Every single one of them deserved to be in the group. It is what makes them special and they have a bias for everyone. People just like to judge everyone behind a computer screen. His vocals are top 3 of the group and his visuals are ever evolving. And don’t get me started on NiKi! He is a natural born performer and his vocals now that his voice has changed…OMG! It adds a whole different layer to their sound. Heeseung is an ACE. No doubt. He’s a born entertainer with the artistry to deliver visuals like crazy! And I say all of this as a Sunghoon Bias. Someone who can be underrated but know how to deliver mad visuals. But his tone of voice is special. Jay may come off hard but when they show his softer side, it gives him more dimension. He also has the most solid voice of the group.Then there is Jungwon, his unique voice, amazing dance skills and a cute factor I really don’t know who would hate. He is a young all arounder too. Jake haters always surprise me. He is the dark horse. His vocals are solid. His visuals absolutely insane and he is so determined. He has grown so much, as they all have. You can feel the kindness from him. I root for the entire group. I have watched them grow up into wonderful young men. I’ve heard of Sunoo getting hated before, but I never really looked into it. Thought it wasn’t serious. Surprised to see that people actually hate him with a burning passion, and to think it’s only because they think he doesn’t deserve to debut with Enhypen? I didn’t know this is what people think of him. I thought he was well-loved, he won 1st place after all.
On line abuse should not be tolerated and I hope any kpop company would take action against malicious comments on line. Such a well made video, I agreed with every single thing since I'm a big Sunoo stan myself. 🦊💕 It's obvious that the people who send him hate are most likely jealous/envious of Sunoo's happy & personality, or they probably just hate seeing bright/happy people be themselves unapologetically due to them hating themselves & they have miserable lives, so they take it out on people like Sunoo. (And then add the extreme h0m0ph0bia on top of that with him being feminine) I wanna say that I think the d3ath threats he received are being handled by Hybe, but I kept seeing -solo stans- Sunoo fans on Twitter claim that Hybe is doing nothing about it since they're being silent about it. (They have an _intense_ hatred for Hybe/Belift, it's crazy) I never watched I-Land, but solo stanning has definitely been a huge problem since the I-Land days, & I think it's important to at least address it & maybe find a way to get it under control? It really is all a mess, & I feel so bad for Sunoo (& the other members of course) that get so much hate. I can only hope as time goes on these things at least calm down so it's not as bad.
I love Sunoo with all of my heart & I HOPE he doesn't see any of the hatred spewed at him on a near daily basis. I hope he knows that he's made a huge positive impact in so many lives, including mine. ❤
