THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE WHEN I NEEDED YOU. I HAVE THE EXACT MINDSET AS YOU. I am a senior in high school and used all of my electives and filled it with AP's and I put immense pressure on my self to be successful in college. I currently have a 4.5 gpa and have so many other things that look great on my resume. I want to be somewhere in the fashion industry or somewhere creative wise and an academic adviser I've been speaking to told me Parsons would be a great fit for me, but I feel like I want to go to an academic university because I worked so hard to do what, go to an art school where my academics won't be utilized? so thank you for helping me feel like I am not alone in this. The future terrifies me and I am scared that I will be picking the wrong choices.

I have a similar experience too! I always thought I was going to go to FIT and I got in, but I decided to go to the University of Pittsburgh which is where I live. It definitely wasn’t my dream like FIT but in the end I wanted more of a well rounded education. Also, I get free tuition since my mom works there and I didn’t think I could pass that up.

I just committed to LC for the whole academic vs. only arts thing... I am going into New Media & Digital Design too, and I really want to continue with French, so Fordham is the best of both worlds :)

Fit haves 2 section the design field and the business side the sat act is only for placement for core classes

What do you plan on studying? Sewing is something you can tech yourself no problem. I wouldn’t let that keep you from pursuing a career in fashion.

Annika C. definitely more of a variety of people compared to rose hill i’d say! I think the community is super cool because there’s not that many people at this campus

Aren’t all of those schools easy to get into?
I believe it depends on the program just like any other school. I'm an Interior Design major at Parsons and it was highly competitive but I'm not sure with other programs. Most art schools have a "foundation year" before starting your major and a lot of students tend to drop out before even entering their departments.
