Man, this is incredible work. I’m not a tattooist, but I am designing my own sleeve right now (quarter is done and healing so far) and it is great to find such organized and thoughtful content here. Your videos and wisdom are really helping me clear my mind about what’s possible and what will turn out looking the best. Cheers and all the success in the world to you! Do you take on virtual apprentices? Just outta curiosity? I completed tattooing101 course online in terms of classes and course work, but as far as actual practice of the trade, i dont get individual answers or realistically get any guidance specifically based on me, my skill level, where i need to change things, what i need to work on, etc.. i mainly am looking for someone to that i can show my work and process and have them critique my process, my technical applicatjon, etc, and me go and work on what was mentioned and just kinda go back and forth. I have 4 kiddos and work 40+ hours a week so a normal apprenticeship isnt necessarily in my realm of possibilities at the moment. Is why i joined tattooing 101. Yes it has helped me dramatically, but im not getting guidance specifically tailored to me and where i need to improve. Alot of times my questions dont get answered or is answered by people that dont have much experience. Yes is supposed to be community based but there isnt any form of individual guidance for individual people.. is all based as a whole. Im very grateful to have the opportunity for tattooing101 but i feel i need to grow and i dont for see me growing with what I'm doing. And they want a craaazy amount of $ to do private coaching and would be weird times because of time zone difference. Please feel free to get back at me anytime!! Thank you for your videos!!
Yeah…. 101 is just that - 101 based education by folks who are at 101 level. Funny enough the owners of that website tried to buy me out last year. I declined 😂 I offer advice to anyone but require a person to be in shop for more attention that simple notes or tweaks. You can shoot me an email and we can talk about how to get you to that place if you would like that help. But, for right now, I am not taking distance associates. I have a 1-1 ration for full time folks and they have to be in shop for that to occur. I am currently working with one person (the guy in the video) for this year. He works with me at the shop in Portland, Oregon. If you were to come to Portland with some shop experience we could figure something out in the future🤘

I'm in limbo, between apprenticeships ( moved to another country, main reason) and by the looks of it won't get it here.... Secondly I don't have the 20 bucks a month. Not with 5 kids still at home, lol. Ah well, maybe someday in '25 or '26. The best is yet to come.... At the other hand my website is nearly done, just have to figure out the cookie consent shizzle and that's another nightmare. lmao. All the best.
