Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. Thank you for your reaction 🙏🙏🙏 I just want to add that, yes, Dimash's talent is God Given...but he has also worked very hard consistently to hone and improve on it. He has trained with various great voice coaches since the age of 5. He trains at least 3 hours everyday...that is 24 years of daily hard work 🥰🎶💖 He used to do taekwondo and currently swims regularly to improve his lung capacity and physical strength for singing. He takes the gift he was given very seriously and constantly works on it...for example, during the pandemic he extended his lower register 😍💕🌷 Additionally, he has earned undergraduate degrees in classical and contemporary music, graduate masters in composition and soon to be Dr. Dimash when he completes his thesis to earn a PhD in musicology❣🎉💖 It just amazes me how much our dearest Dimash has achieved in the short time he's been on this earth. May he achieve much much more...he certainly deserves it❣❣❣

Dimash, born May 1994, in Kazakhstan. Sings in multiple languages, 7.7 octaves, everything from opera to jazz, to pop, to blues, to folk, to rock, to rap, to whatever he wants.
This SOS was from his Digital Show done during the pandemic, produced by his, & his family's own company called Dimashali. I just want to add that, yes, Dimash's talent is God Given...but he has also worked very hard consistently to hone and improve on it. He has trained with various great voice coaches since the age of 5. He trains at least 3 hours everyday...that is 24 years of daily hard work 🥰🎶💖
He used to do taekwondo and currently swims regularly to improve his lung capacity and physical strength for singing. He takes the gift he was given very seriously and constantly works on it...for example, during the pandemic he extended his lower register 😍💕🌷
Additionally, he has earned undergraduate degrees in classical and contemporary music, graduate masters in composition and soon to be Dr. Dimash when he completes his thesis to earn a PhD in musicology❣🎉💖
It just amazes me how much our dearest Dimash has achieved in the short time he's been on this earth. May he achieve much much more...he certainly deserves it❣❣❣
