- out of the box, with inner tubes, no pedals (as seen here): 11.94KG (the tubes weight about 310g together) - new wheels (tubeless), with pedals (xtr), cables trimmed, with computer mount: 11.41kg
These are so hard to get! I tried to get the Team Issue AXS from Oct. 2021 through December 2022. I finally 'settled' for a Team Black (the model right below your bike with the matte black raw carbon paint scheme). I upgraded it with X01 AXS, Transfer SL, etc. Basically now up to the spec of your bike. Minus the one-piece bar/stem. A lot of work and money. Would have been easier to just buy the model you have if I could have gotten one. Great bikes. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, I think I was incredibly lucky to get my hands on this bike… the place I got it from only got one so far and I just happened to be looking at the right time. I had been on a waiting list with another bike shop, but they’re probably not getting any in until July, and then those will already be spoken for. Seems like you basically have to get your name on a list very early (or get very lucky like me) in order to get one! The team black bike looks awesome too, and sounds like you’ve made some good upgrades 👍🏻 have you swapped out the wheels? The one piece bar/stem certainly looks pretty nice, but it’s something you could add easily enough down the line if you wanted to.
@@leodavison87 I did do the wheels. Had a set of LightBicycle carbon rims laced to Onyx Vesper hubs. Stock wheelset was ~2065g, new set was ~1440g. Big change to the 'zippiness' of the bike.
NIce 👍 I've just put on a set of the new Bontrager Kovee pro 30's (I have the previous gen on my hardtail). I weighed everything as I took it off and the wheelset (wheels + rim strip + valves) went from 1940g -> 1415g, saving 525g 😁
Great looking bike? How doies it performs in the real world? I'm asking because i'm consider this bike, but upgrade the wheels to Silverstone 3.0 carbon + SRAM Level tlm brakes (i'm trying to decide between this one with the mentioned upgrades OR the giant anthem advanced Pro 2, with the upgrade to the mentioned brakes and groupset SRAM GX TType)
Thanks! Yeah, I'm very happy with it so far! Not been able to get too many miles in on it yet... but I have my third XC race of the season this coming Sunday and it will be my first race using this new bike!
Awesome video Leo. Thanks so much. I'll be watching this on repeat till I can finally take delivery of mine 🤣
No problem - hopefully it gives you a better idea of what to expect 👍🏻
Beautiful bike! More pictures and videos are always welcome
Thanks 😊 I'm very much looking forward to getting some miles in on this!
Peso!?

Very very nice looking bike. And i guess its very agile and fast on the trails.

Awesome bike! 🤔This seatpost is not the 100mm stock one, it isn’t?
It is the 100mm version - but when I took this video I hadn't yet set the height so it's further out of the frame now
Bike top💣👽
