The increment is appreciable but on the other side we should also consider the inflation.
Gratuity shouldn't be included in CTC, 90percent people isn't get that.
Joining bonus is something tricky which reduces your overall in-hand salary after 2 years 😭

That's why/when they increase the % allocation of bonus substantially in 3rd and 4th year to match the overall CTC..
But yes, will certainly have your ctc reduced unless you get a decent hike or a Promotion :-)

Can u explain how tax is 20% on base? Even if tax exemptions are considered, base will be more than 10L which will directly attract 30% tax.
From 0 to 2.5 lpa the tax will be free
From 2.5 to 5 lpa the tax will be 5%
From 5 to 10 lpa the tax will be 20%
From 10 to above 10 lpa the tax will be 30%
If ur salary is 9 lpa then u need to pay 0+12500(2.5lpa to 5 lpa)+50000(5lpa to 9lpa) that means it will be 62,500 rupees

New tax regime:
0 - 2.5 = 0
2.5 - 5 = 5%
5 - 7.5 = 10%
7.5 - 10 = 15%
10 - 12.5 = 20%
12.5 - 15 = 25%
>15 = 30%
He doesn't know tax saving options

Hello Bro, I too work in Amazon, I want to become an SDE too, may I please know if this pay package is only for campus placement freshers or for their internal employees too? Because you know internal employees salary sometimes comes slightly low if they are being promoted as compared to external hiring.

Hello Deevankshu... Does Amazon provides hybrid work option? Like few weeks from hometown and few weeks from office? Or it is work from office only? Also how many holidays excluding weekends do you get in Amazon?
12 casual, 12 sick, 15 annual, 5 mandatory, 5 optional..
Amazon is currently running hybrid but it strictly follows office culture, so offices will start soon which are basically 5 star hotels 🏨

One of their employee came and she said she is trying to get a job as a clerk in PSB because of insecurity of her job and work load..........fyi she graduated from IIM Lucknow and was an officer in HDFC.

They might ask about OS and core subjects.
The most important are the leadership rounds , even if u are technically average and nail the leadership round , u may get selected. And yeah they recently gave 88 percent hike to L3 employees ( i recieved the same) but its non negotiable ig)
They rarely ask theory questions, but if any theory topic is related with your project they will definitely ask, like if your project is networking based so they will definitely ask what different protocols you can use? why you are using this protocol? What is osi model ? Same with operating system topics but mostly they ask semaphore and mutex and deadlock concepts from operating system but not 100% guaranteed it again depends on interviewer he/she can ask topics which are not related to your project but there is very low weightage of theory topics.

@@piyushag2305 Do well in your behavioural questions like "Tell me about a time...", they usually hold more weightage than HLD/LLD design. But make sure your answers to these behavioural questions are straight out of the park. All the best.

If sign on bonus is in 2yrs then how it went to 45 lakhs 😂? I thought CTC is calculated per year. So it went down to 39 lakhs again RSU is divided into 4 yrs 😂 so each year 3.25 lakhs, so on first year CTC is 15.5 + 9 + 3 = 27 LPA

They don't tell you CTC but package which includes stock, joining bonus and base salaries with perks
So, whenever you accept a offer don't go for the lucrative package but see the base salary

Try talking to recruiter if you their contact. They generally don't take this much time. If you do well in your technical they generally schedule you for hiring manager round and bar raiser

Sit do we get RSUs each year like you said the package was of 45 lacs so will we get those RSUs each year with new limits ? Because if we get RSUs only for one year then the package foe the next year would me 45 - 13 lacs ?
45 is just magic number. Second year no RSU (MAY BE 1 or 2 very rarely as part of HIKE), no joining bonus like frst year.

And 45 is total package ... In-hand max. Product companies me 1-1.5 lac ke around hi hota h freshers ka
@@gameyguys300 CTC = Gross Salary + Benefits. Companies will defend in this way. Base salary is ~15L for SDE-1 so next year basse will be not less than ~15L, Rest other things like RSU, Bonus will be part of benefits i think and that will vary every year. Note - RSU will vest completly in 4 years, so frst year you can't expect whole 45L and RSU is subject to market risk it may go down also. Some people from amazon simply create youtube video's with no proper info, it's just for views.
