We used this recording at our wedding in 2009. Makes me smile every time I hear it, thank you for being so good on the piano.
I’m not sure if you see these comments any more, but for the last few months (more like many months- it’s probably almost been a year now) I lost my will to play piano, and there was a point where I just thought I’d be so rusty that it wouldn’t be worth it.
But after seeing this, I believe I finally got the push I needed to start playing again. This is the most beautiful song I’ve ever listened to, and I want to achieve my goal of playing this myself some day.

This song is beauty, this song is love, this song is peace, this song is clear, it puts a smile on your face when your down and it lights up the world with its warm glow, it makes me want to cry, but happy tears, It's almost natrual in a way and it's all because he plays through his heart and not his head! :'')
Thanks for your comments. In answer to your question, the truth is the piano Sigur Ros use to play the original song on is tuned differently. Basically its tuned 'off' A440 (the standard tuning for piano and other concert instruments). So its pretty much played out of tune if you like, thats all it is, its obviously just a weird little thing they decided to do for the piece.
Many who view this video will feel somewhat privileged to have had you share a wonderous few minutes with them. A truly beautiful offering, a slither of light where there was none before. Thank you Mark.

You could get a Roland FP-4, like in my other videos, thats a very good digital piano, I got mine for around £700 online, you need to decide your price range first though, and I can help you. However you really need to go to a shop and try some out, and get advice from the sales people....cheers.
