  • We visited Off-Grid Africa which is a company that was founded in 2020 by the German company Off-Grid Europe. Off-Grid Europe and Off-Grid Africa are specialized in #renewableenergy technology for #powergeneration and #storagesolutions. Since 2020, they are part of the ASER300 (Agence Sénégalaise d'Electrification Rurale, GAUFF Engineering, German Development Bank KfW) project in Senegal that set the target to electrify at least 300 villages.
We drove to one of the villages where they installed an off-grid solar system; near Kaffrine in #Senegal. In this video, the founder Mark Kragh shares his story and ambitions for the future. In addition, the chief of the village shares his view on this project.

Het solar systeem ziet er compact uit, lijkt er op dat het overal op de wereld neergezet kan worden.

This is really excellent! Thanks for sharing.
How much does the setup cost? What is the capacity of the batteries?
What's the output, and how many people can this serve?
