Here is the breakdown of the tips
1. Ask yourself my two important questions to decide who to ask?
a) who have I impressed academically?
b) who will give me high marks as a student specifically?
2. Write a request letter that highlights your specific strengths in their class.
3. Include a list of the colleges to which you will apply.
4. Send the teacher a thank-you email or note after they wrote your letter.

Hi Laura, would you recommend having 2 teachers writing letters for all colleges in Common App? Will the letter they write be submitted to all colleges?

I recommend at least 1 to be from your guidance counselor, and one from the teacher who will best vouch for you! the one you had the best relationship with as a mentor rather than JUST a teacher. :-)
