- Baritone Vito Priante sings Rossini's famous 'Largo al factotum' from The Barber of Seville (Il barbiere di Siviglia) during The Royal Opera: Live in Concert.
The Royal Opera: Live in Concert features an outstanding cast performing much-loved classics of the opera repertory, joined by current Jette Parker Young Artists, 67 members of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and members of the Royal Opera Chorus, performing together in person for the first time since we closed our doors to the public on 16 March. The concert is hosted by the BBC’s Katie Derham.

I love seeing the orchestra so spread apart. That must be quite some storage space (maybe on the stage?) to store all the seats they took up.
Stunning performance from both the singer and the orchestra!
4.46 he failed.
Such a shame there's no audience to applaud such magnificent performance by Vito and orchestra...
You're here. Didn't you clap?
Great! It almost makes me cry this amazing performance.
Anyone from Tom and Jerry...?
Wayyyyy before that.
Beautiful, superb, moving, delightful and gorgeous are not nearly sufficient!
splendida voce
I love this. I have re-watched many times. A very high quality performance and Vito Priante is perfect for the character of Figaro.
I’m in love with this!
Stunning performance!
Great, great, great ... From Costa Rica 🇨🇷 !!
Di que si!
Ah classical music... It fills me with happiness. I wish i can go to UK and watch the Barber of Seville live one day... Thank you Royal Opera!
Um verdadeiro espetáculo 👏👏👏

Bravissimo! 😍👏👏👏
💕💕
Por lo dibujos animados me gusta esta musica
Amazing, apart from the very muted 👏🏻 at the end 😢.
Ah, its Covid distance.
Every time I hear this I think of robin Williams in Mrs doubtfire.
😍🌺
Viva Granforte!
True, Priante modest voice.
@Eugenio Gentili He’s woofy and constricted.
@@xxsaruman82xx87 when del Monaco sings this aria he sounds far more baritonal than this guy
@@beckyyule1228 Exactly!

With social distancing and having 1 person per balcony and the orchestra taking up the entire floor, I wonder how much the tickets are?
Può dirmi qualcuno chi è il compositore di questa canzone 🎶?…
E volevo chiedere ancora per quale ragione questo bravo ragazzo sta gridando?…
il vecchio
❤👌😍💖✨🎶🎵
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I cannot watch this without thinking of Bugs Bunny.
Greart performance. Though I am still concerned things are going to fast. Musicians (winds and singers) project our saliva further than strings.
Tom and Jerry brought you here :D
Sorry but he doesn't come near Dmitry Hvorostovsky for me!!!
Bugs bunny is smiling.
Yo buscándolo con "Figaro" xd
The Penthouse brought me here
I think I've heard this in Tom and Jerry 😅
Di qualita~
It's not BAD but it isn't stunning either... 🙃
Fake baritone.
Looking at that now in 2024, doesn't it make you realise how absurd those time were? because it should do.
Michigan j frog.
Total crap
I had a haircut yesterday
And the barber never did of this guff
The voice lacks BODY. It does not resonate; it is static. Expressive? Yes. This a Tempest in a Teacup. The aria deserves - no DEMANDS a lot more. The voice has NO RING!.
