If the EU thinks that they can hold the UK's money issues for reason that everyone should stay in the EU, I must point out that the whole WORLD's economic outlook is in dire straights. Russia is mostly bankrupt, as is China. The USA is heading into a recession as great or greater than the 1929 disaster, and there is no "if" it is just when. When the USA economy fails, and the rest of the world is on shaky ground, 2024-2025 is going to be a lesson in survival!!! Of course we could also go into WW3, and in that case, all bets are off.

To be top dog - albeit with a smaller economy - is a price they would probably pay. Iran and North Korea definitely would - the hardships of their own people mean nothing to them. (In fact, they prefer it - a people struggling to survive rarely have the time, money, and opportunity to overthrow a truly ruthless dictatorship. Like the Tsar, the Shah of Iran was overthrown, not because he was a tyrant - but because he wasn't.)

All your goods and services(read food, utilities, homes) will be given to you by generous donation of the Supreme Leader, sounds kinda like communism being practiced. er,!! the original idea as a trading block was a good idea at the time, and as such would still have been so today!! Where the " project," went totally wrong is when it was decided to portray itself as a political union, which basically today is little more than delusions of grandeur,!!
At the time of its Inception it saw itself as having a role between the two great superpowers, the US and Russia!! None of its architects ever envisaged the rise of China as an economic powerhouse, and as a result a political force across the globe,!!
Then, with the rise of China the fatal mistake Europe made was expansion and the fatal mistake of seeking NATO as it's ," protector"!!
However, today, those delusions of grandeur led it to its most fatal decision, under the umbrella of NATO Europe decided to go along with idea of regime change in Russia!!
Here was , and I emphasise was, a potential trading partner on Europe's doorstep with enormous resources vital to European States economy, alas, greed, stupidity, incompetence, led them to the debacle that is Ukraine today, and a situation that signals the death knell of NATO, for after its eventual defeat in Ukraine, there is nowhere for it to claim it has the capacity to protect!!
No, the European Union has as they say shot themselves in the foot over Ukraine and that stark realisation will as night follows day lead to its eventual demise as a economic and political project, with States returning to the pre World War Ii situation of individual pacts, alliances, trading arrangements etc!! European Union?? A bureaucracy that killed itself with rules, and regulations among democratic States!!??

We would also have to take in all the illegal immigrants they allot to us with no say in the matter, no matter where they come from. The EU are on a power grab, they will take charge of everything including the military which means we will have no say over what the military are allowed to do. The young can forget their cheap holidays as they will only be able to fly once a year, and lets not forget all the tax they will have to pay for the immigrants. Think that is an outrageous post, think again. The EU said they did not want a military, they did not want a federal state or the powers to control taxes and have the sole right to decide foreign policy for all member states. Funny then because that is exactly what they are doing with this power grab. Wake up people, the EU are not working for you, only themselves.

That's because Brussels(the bank) is having much trouble collecting yearly dues from the member nations. Many many nations have reneged on their yearly dues. Which are substantial. Lebanon hasn't paid in 6 years. Greece has been bailed out by Germany three times now and still can't pay the 2023 dues. France just put Brussels on notice they can't pay for year 2023. Neither can Spain and Portugal. Before the UK did Brexit she was paying Brussels $8Billion dollars per year. That's no more. Seems to me that the wheels are coming off the wagon.

in the end, the EU is all about centralized political power and the people only have indirect input into who their top bosses will be. VDL was not the result of universal polling. When a country joins the EU, it loses some of its sovereign powers, but the EU in Brussels wants even more. Make your choice, Europe. I think the best arrangement is for national governments to manage their own affairs. People sorted themselves into countries where they all spoke a similar language, shared religious values, customs and foods, etc. People like to live among others "like them." The EU should have stuck to being a trading block. The Euro was a step towards full political control.

The biggest mistake is the open border’s to people that have no intention of assimilating into the country’s culture and traditions, and its laws and values.
Being an born citizen of America since 1965
I can remember when people who migrated from whatever country they came from was because they wanted to become American Citizens and live like Americans with freedom and liberty and Rights.
I use to think that I would like to migrate to Germany for several reasons but it’s just as bad if not worse I think that the EU is the problem much like the UN the WFO IMF and all those connected there Agenda is going to have grave impact on the world and the people will suffer because of this ruling class I’m glad to see that people around the world are waking up and will not be shamed into submission we have to fight for our freedom and culture or they the globalists will take it away from all of us and America is going to fall apart we are heading into another 911 we are having 25,000 crossings a day now and they say that it’s going to get worse before the next election cycle I predict that there is going to be riots and sabotage of our infrastructure and industrial complex leading up to and after the election.
