Nobody realizes standing next to Em is Rick Rubin, one of the greatest producers of all time
I knew who he was, but I got a feeling the younger folks have no idea.
Founder of Def Jam😍
He somehow looks like Hodor
The whole first verse including the opening guitar chord is all about Beastie Boys starting with Rick Rubin before def jam began as he was experimentally producing in his college dorm .
Rick Ruben, Yea he co-produced or produced this song. He also had something to do with JayZ's 99 problems
This song has hands down, one of the best hooks hip hop has ever given us. Its so fucking catchy
Facts
Bro this is facts why does no one seem to say this
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO SAID THAT

I can tell you dont know who the white guy with the beard is... that's Rick Rubin the co-founder of Def Jam.
I said the same. He didn't catch the kid rock reference either...Still the Goat tho
#NoLifeGang
@@kalaspears6288 old school references everywhere. Homage to Beastie Boys everywhere in there
@@rockinroyle beastie boys rock
So he has to say something? Stfu
@@kalaspears6288 It's actually a double reference because Em is also referencing Kid Rock's porn video to which Kid Rock has said in the past he was more embarrassed about people finding out he knew Scott Stapp than the video it's self
"Say Fuck It, Before We Kick The Bucket" is by far my favorite line because the meaning it delivered and how it just sounds great altogether

Em actually had Kid Rock and Kendrick in this video, that’s lit
Don't forget slaughterhouse, Rick rubin, Alchemist and Paul and Mr. Porter
The first guy looked like zz top
@@thestoobers7084 cause it was ZZ top
@@ThatguyPurps If you're referring to the bearded guy throughout the whole video, that's the legendary Rick Rubin, not any of the band members of ZZ Top but I can see why you would think that.
Right. And to think Kid Rock was bigger in Detroit during the come up
Never Enough - Eminem, 50 Cent and a Nate Dogg hook
best song you will listen to, please shaq. Its an extremely underrated song
50s verse so underrated too! Fucking one of the best em songs ever and people say that album was bad cause he was on drugs 🤣
yeetus deletus yes coach, to me it’s some of the best bars 50 came with
Ra the rugged man- Media Midgets
Hell yea
yeetus deletus very very underrated!!
Eminem is truly one of the most incredible writers out there. The way he spins words and phrases is mind-blowing.
You can understand that the comment is good when there are lots of likes and zero replies!
@@howdyyk1818 that's it bro.
No one will ever top eminem. That's just facts and that's tuff to think
Someone may, you never know. What we do know is there will NEVER be another em, and NO ONE can do it the way he did it
Zach Ellis I love Em but you must not know who MF DOOM! is
If Beastie Boys ever come back
I will
In terms of what? Lyrical ability? Story telling? Delivery? Stage presence? Mindset? One man that cant be matched other than lyrically and even then it wouldnt matter is Pac that dude had 5 years for his career in which he made so much material and especially finding a bad song after his first album is like a challenge and even the first one is arguable. Pac as a whole is nothing short of incredible life was like a goddamn movie with a genius mindset
“I did enough codine to knock future into tomorrow” was a shot at future like so coach knows!
No, it was a shot at the future. Ik but had to xD
not a shot, just a punchline. he already said that years ago
It’s not a shot my dude, he meant “future” literally
Shaq GOD Has Blessed You Man I Just Started Watching And You Are Funy Bro. Plus I Love Eminem ..Keep Up The Good Work.

Rick Ruben, and a lot of Beastie Boys and classic rock references here, specifically The Stroke - Billy Squier
Great call on Billy Squier
Oh yeahh. . . w/out the Beastie Boys . . there prolly isnt an Eminem, a Kid Rock, Linkin Park, etc
“I ain’t got no money to borrow, but I am trying to find a way to get you a/lone” - best line in the song
I liked the „bow bbow chika bow chika bowow...“ part
@@lahaineproduction me either
Can you explain what that means?
@@officerpulaski3767 he is doing beat box to The Stroke an 80's hit by Billy Squire. That's the tune there playing. Remixing, sampling. The line is Everybody, do the stroke! That's Billy on stage. Famous 80's rock anthem.
I see that and raise you "I woke up in that monte carlo, with the ugly Kardashian, Lamar O sorry bro, we done both set the bar low"
“Just one more reaction” I keep telling myself and I’m up for work in 4 hours

Lol irony how i just asked him to react to it
“Grow your beard out, just weird out “ it’s like he planned this out back then. Now he’s out here with the beard and bezerkin on everyone
The Ghost there are sooooo many songs you listen to now that he says some shit about “2020” or “20 years from now”, and just some other weird references he makes that I really feel like he’s had his entire career planned... maybe not everything goes or went as planned it he has his ideas and he know what he’s capable of when he sticks to his ideas, so without a doubt I feel 2020 Eminem is going to go “bezerk”... and not to jynx him or nothing he has developed the biggest fan base he will ever have. He has the “then” about to have the “now” and if what he does gets him killed then he will and what have the “future”...
Bro. Listen to business. He has a bar about “gettin beards and actin weird” 😂😂😂
Exactly, yes... that’s what I’m talking about.
The man is a genius and definitely a fan for life, can’t wait to see what else he has coming
Haha Dam straight !!!
I love how this is a fun tribute to old school hip hop and showing his love to the beastie boys as well
What the fuck that's not a beastie boys samples you musicly uneducated goat tickler it's a billy squire sample
The bearded guy is Rick Rubin of Beastie Boys fame. Great video.

U gotta admit that
Eminem was 42 at the time of this video. He looks like 20s.

he did put a old school spin on it. one point at 6:25 with the record scratching. and another point at 6:36 with those old skool hip-hop beats. i give him props for that

no, my name is needs to be reacted to
I remember watching this for the first time at release and I thought it was horrible. It is now one of my favorite songs. It's crazy how an artist know what is good!!!!!
Love your smile and positive energy!
I love how Em pays respect to the rappers who came before him. Rick Rubin produced this album who also produced the Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill album. This track has a Beastie Boy vibe and the video is similar to a couple Bboys videos. He also paid respect with his last album Kamikaze with the album cover. He definitely is part of the culture and the history of hiphop
Total respect being paid to The great Beastie Boys amongst other influences. Rubin definitely recaptured the Beastie style and sound on this.Excellent tune !
The “Bob” reference was for Bob Richie a.k.a Kid Rock that jumped in the frame and he pointed to as he said it.
Then proceeded to say come get on this kids rock
Jay King bawitaba dang dang
A rockin kid* rock song
Rick Rubin... He's produced your favorite songs since before you were born.
Haha. He said sorry Lamar with both set the bar low. Lmao.

He did Soldier a long time ago.
He said I don't have no money to borrow but I'm still trying to get you alone. (Loan)
Same song & Dance is one of my faves

Yes
Song doesn’t even start and we know Eminem is going to murder another song.
Shadowgt this song is old as shit my guy lol
@@VERT1220 mmlp2 isn't that old lol
Joel Kartovaara it came out in 2013. It’s practically 2020. It’s old as hell lol
@@VERT1220 it's not old for Eminem standards tho, Infinite came out in 1996
Joel Kartovaara what does that have to do with the time berserk came out. Old is old lol. A 7 year old song is old. There is not standards for anyone. The songs old. That’s all that matters. But I’m glad that he’s listening to it cause I was too young to grasp some of the bars in this song and now I understand everything. Being old isn’t a bad thing.
Interesting note, this was co-written (haha, I mean sampled from) with Ad-Rock (aka Adam Horovitz) and MCA (aka Adam Yauch) (Beastie Boys), Billy Squire (The Stroke, song), Neville Brothers, Naughty by Nature, produced by Rick Ruben. The video cameos Kendrick Lamar, Kid Rock, Slaughterhouse, Mr. Porter, Yelawolf, The Alchemist, producer Rick Ruben and manager Paul Rosenberg.
omg you did this song finally thank you shaq
Billy Squire “Stroke Me” is the main beat definitely should react to that
Robert Martin *The Stroke, and seconded
Then kid rock BAWWITDABAW
I definitely second that...billy squier is a legend
Robert Martin Glad someone else noticed the great Billy Squire!
Billy Squire sux
My favorite thing about Em is that even if his songs aren't all catchy or popular, every single line of every song has wordplay. Even if a song don't vibe with you its still lyrical genius.
Lets just say 99% even when writing about writer's block (Rabbit run) or not making sense (Rain man, slightly dissing) he tells you.
Whaaaaat !!! 😂😂 coach when im feeling down i just throw on 1 of your reactions ( mostly eminem 1's 😋 ) n you make me feel happier again , i mean iv just buried my grandad n had time to myself so ended up watching 1 of your old reactions n you cheered me up now iv just sat for the past 2 hours watching your reactions 😁 dats tuff ! No but id like to thank you coach personally because you do make people laugh and laughter is better than tears in my eyes anyway so thanks again coach 👍🏻
This not only has Rubin but its throwback to LL and Beasties both which he produced
You gotta react to Eminem - My Fault....not sure how you havent yet
Because he goes by how many likes the comments have and there's a lot of 'later' Eminem fans who likes the comments so most of them don't go back as far as the Slim Shady LP unfortunately.
I def agree i been suggesting that one.
He foreshadowed the beard. "Grow your beard out. Just weird out"
Its my mans n them.I like you shaq. You really analyze music for its meaning. Thumbs up young brotha.

I'm almost certain that guy with the beard was ZZ Top a rock and roll band from H-Town Texas! Love this song!.. Haven't heard it in a long time though, but Anything Eminem Dose is a Instant Classic in my Eyes!!
That guy is Rick Ruben. He's produced for EVERYONE in rap and rock. He's the white dude in the 99 problems video too.
This whole video is a throw back to old hip hop videos. LL, Beastie Boys, etc...
