- Spare yourself a comment, Im aware that the funnel stairs weren't painted on this model. However, after the video was uploaded I finished them, and then I sold the whole thing.

Why do you have those ventilation pipes turned backwards? They were aimed to the front because it helps their efficiency when ship was moving.
You're wrong mate, look it up, please. Titanic's "ventilation pipes" were facing aft.
You are actually right, I'm sorry. That's interesting, because so many other ships had them facing forward. Btw to make complete fool of myself, I placed them facing backwards on my model, so I did know it decade ago, but I forgot :-D Well again, sorry, my mistake.
it had a thin gold line between the white superstructure and the black hull...all the way around
Good model. My only criticism is this, the ladders on the funnels. You didn't paint them.
Edit: I've seen from your other comments you've since painted them. LOL
This is a good kit, not the most accurate of Titanic kits but it's a great kit to build especially for floating. I built this kit before, and i ballasted it so it would be stable in the water. I also put bulkheads in the hull so that when it floods it tilts in the water exactly like the real ship. Minus the break up

I bought a revell 1/700 and I'm waiting for it tell me if it is hard or Kinda insane to make xD
It's not that hard, in fact, its a pretty simple kit.

It depends on your experience. Be patient, it's done when it's done. Your goal is to build a nice model, not to set a speed record making it. :)

@@zellerfusch ok. Thanks for replying! I have that same modell and havent been able to applyvthe decals because i thought i needed micro set. But now that i know it works with water, i dont have to buy any extra stuff. Thankyou!
@@FroGgy15736 You just soak it in hot water and apply on the surface. I havent done any modeling in years, but I remember there is a method to make it look more smooth, never tried it tho.

Thanks, but I didn't forgot, I just don't had the patience to put it on. Since then, I sold this model, and made another one, and it got the stripes as well.
Why didn’t you paint the stairs in the chimney
It was a rushed work, I but I finished it later.
I have the same model and i have a problem with the stickers because i can not take them of, if you can help me I would appreciate it, thanks!!!
Just cut out the sticker as accurately as you can, put it in hot water for a minute, then pull off the sticker from the paper, and place it on the model. After this you can stabilize it with a moist cotton bud.
