The wood hub lock is similar to what i have on my sons power wheel. The difference is i put a piece of 3/4 wood between the 2 halfs of those same rims. I did that to make the rims wider
I don't remember exactly, but it's a flanged wheel bearing for riding lawn mowers. (For the front wheels) Pretty standard part. You should be able to find them on eBay, just take some measurements.
Can you tell me the inner and outer dimensions of an original hollow axle? I was wanting to know if a piece of the hollow axle could be used as a bushing for the original solid axle in a newer 7R gearbox. Thanks!
@@IsaacBayer The axle I have is 7/16" (.4375" ) solid for the 7 gearbox which I think you have in your video. I have seen it shown as 12mm and 13mm for the axle hole. Don't know why they mix standard and metric. I have not seen them, but the newer 7R gearbox is shown with a 20mm axle hole for the hollow axle. Part numbers can be found, but they like to hide the dimensions. I am guessing the hollow axle is 3/4" O.D. I am trying to find someone that has one to measure the inner and outer diameters. Thanks!
Good day sir ,please help me to fix the problem of my son rides on cars its original gear box was broken so i ordered a new one with higher rpm than the original its 40000rpm,i fit and installed it right now here the problem when ride it of my son its run for 5seconds only then it suddenly stop and after 10-30seconds it will run again it will repeatedly happened its look like the electricity was trip down or what so ever..can you give me some advices to fix this sir?
My kids dune racer power wheel done this and I replaced gear switches new battery and it done same thing but now nothing at all. Did you figure it out?
I did the same and drilled out the gear box that I bought off Amazon and they gave me the money back and let me keep it since it was cracked. The axle was bent a little so I heated it up and applied pressure and it’s straight now so if it’s bent it will prematurely kill the motor.

The original axle was not hollow. I don't remember the diameter. I think it was 1/2 inch. The axle I installed is 5/8.

How do I find my Gear Box? I've looked all over the place, I have a Disney Frozen Jeep Action Wheels, EC 1412
How has this setup been working for you? Did you change the wheel bearings like you mentioned?
So far so good, but we haven't done a lot of high speed stuff lately. Never ended up doing the wheel bearings. But they have ok so far.
