Diyang Mei viola & Chiyan Wong piano perform Schumann's Märchenbilder Op 113

Chinese violist Diyang Mei chose to use some of his 2018 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship to make two videos of some of his favourite repertoire. Here, joined by pianist Chiyan Wong, he plays Robert Schumann's Märchenbilder (Fairy Tale Pictures) Op 113, the four contrasting pieces offering a suitable display for his sonorous instrument. Very nice playing , great dynamics and feeling!
You should use a center mounted chinrest with this viola so your chin is not dampening the stringholder, free the sound😊!
