I think depending on how over or understable a disc is affects if it flips heads or tails due to the parting line (and maybe the weight of the flight plate). Good job with the editing as always
The Twin Swords was the discs that made me fall in love with Yikun. The first disc I got over 400 feet and was so so pretty. I bag the stock run stamps that feature twin swords on it and it is also less slick.
The twin swords is definitely an interesting one! Reminds me of the Ricky Signature destroyers in flight

A disc I've recently started throwing well is the tsa nebula aura synapse. Its numbers 12 5 0 3. But it has some more turn to it than advertised. I max out at 440 and throw it well.
James Conrad loves the neutron time lapse, I'm guessing because its gotta be incredibly reliable in the wind. 6:28
You should check out the Yikun Jiao in base plastic, it might be the flippiest disc ever made.
I threw my first throw with that purple Jiao at Upper Badlands #9 and never saw it again. Crazy, crazy understable
My wife loves Yikun discs! She’s loves the designs on em and likes Chinese culture. They all seem domey to me and I really like their nature sand colored plastic.
Twin Swords is a money disc, definitely my favorite Yikun Driver.
Buddy on my team last weekend in the AM state said he's used to drivers as putters. He was using the Twin Swords as his putter. About 1/2 made I'd say

I've gotten a bunch of Yikuns starting out because they've been on sale at my local store, they've been really great overall. Really sweet designs too compared to some brands.
I have throw Yukin discs for years if you review any of the full line of disc you will be surprised FU is my favorite disc as well as the Hammer (pig with glide) The other small company is Daredevil Disc out of Canada
The fu is amazing and the hammer is so clutch the new Tian Shi is a new great overstable putter with a bit more stability than the hammer.
I just love my Twin Swords. I mostly use it for forehand.
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.

Seems like it's a straight up violation of MVP patent, but Chinese companies tend to not care. Mildly surprised that MVP hasn't moved to block the import and sale of those in USA; maybe it's not worth the hassle, or maybe the different attachment method is just enough to skirt the patent. Doesn't seem like that from how the patent reads, but not a lawyer so what do I know.
Lat64's 2K Opto-G overmolds weren't for gyro, they were for feel ; same with Clash's Tone.

I was throwing the Nitro from MVP and was excited for the Time Lapse advertising to be more understable than the Nitro, but they flew exactly the same so I kept the nitro in the bag (for reference nitro is 12/5/0/3)
Would love to see your thoughts on the Nitro now that they have some dome to them!!
A buddy shows up to a glow round with a few cheap glow discs from the manufacturer. They were like $12 each, but the glow was pretty bad. Was an interesting round.

A relatively unknown brand and disc you should try out is Goliath discs, the Enoch and the Rapture are incredible!

I bought a yikun she gong, and it flies nice and flat. I think they make good discs.

I also enjoy the unique discs. Divergent discs were my most recent ones for fun got them super cheap on sale. I'm curious though do you know anyone of Asian descent that you might could talk disc golf too? Wondering if the smoother rim and more shallow might be of Asian inspiration or maybe it's just cheaper cause less plastic.

You should try an MVP mayhem as a distance forehand disc. Perfect amount of flip for me to get golf line distance without the uncontrollable glide of some other discs. I can laser it dead straight 350' or get over 400'+ with some height...
I feel like maybe it's similar to the Twin Swords in stability- but I don't have quite the power you have.
The DX destroyer was the fission timelapse before the fission Timelapse. Working in the disc shop now and just put the two side by side and are virtually identical. And fly the same for me.
Recycled ESP Force for a forehand disc. Perfect stability for a workhorse forehand distance driver.

Got a Twin Swords as a mystery disc by Infinite, and it is one of THE discs of all time. That is about all I got for that one.

i have a twin swords and the numbers are 12,5,-1,2 instead of 0,2 weird how they swich them on the same disc sometimes

Kind of unrelated but what Camera do you use? Recently got a Osmo Action 3 and I'm pretty disappointed with it for recording disc golf.
@@danh413 Sony a7iv, anything with a smaller sensor is prob gonna be tough, minimum upgrade from a phone imo is typically an aps-c style camera, but you can still get some cool shots with the action 3!

Big fan, but dude, stop bashing Yikun with the titles. It's difficult enough for Chinese disc golf brand to build a name for themselves. I know you do it for fun to bait the audience, but give them some love. They have some nice discs, and innovate a lot on different plastics and styles. Zheng and JinWu are few of my favorites. Never tried Twin Swords, maybe I should.

I hear that. I'd hope the 1st second of the video would dispel the notion of bashing them, as well as my actual thoughts on the discs esp as compared to the timelapse both flight and history-wise
Intectual property theft. They been doing it for years. They do it with there military vehicles/ aircraft.
@@BodanzaDiscGolf Yes, I did sense that from the beginning, no worry. Just reminding that titles do matter on our search-algo driven digital worlds, and a lot more people will see that header/title compared to who actually watch it.
Anyway, it's still overall awesome you are highlighting this and other non-mainstream companies. Let's hope we get to see the Ching-discs review someday.
