  • Welcome to Next Day Solar! Join us in London as we embark on an exciting installation project featuring solar panels and a cutting-edge battery storage system. In this video, we'll be installing a hybrid inverter with a capacity of five kilowatts and introducing a 9.6 kilowatt Fox battery storage solution.
The unique aspect of this project is the implementation of a backup system, essential for powering a water pump on the property. With the existing backup lasting only two hours, our goal is to extend this capability to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for up to a day.
Inside the property, we showcase the consumer unit housing the main loads and the backup loads, along with the five-kilowatt Fox inverter and 24.8-kilowatt energy cube batteries. On the roof, we have 11 Genco and 445 solar panels powering the system.
During a grid failure simulation test, we demonstrate how the backup system seamlessly kicks in, supplying power to essential circuits such as the pump, lights, boiler, and sockets. Specific circuits are designated for backup supply, ensuring critical functionality during outages.
If you're considering a solar panel installation with battery backup, don't hesitate to contact us at Next Day Solar for expert advice and service. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more exciting updates on our renewable energy projects! Subscribe for the latest content.
