So... This year I'm taking a stab at making my living doing art and art related and adjacent things...
Painting isn't a new medium for me, but I have no pro know-how and haven't ever taken so much as a highschool art class. Those I know and have seen my stuff love my work, and that's given me the confidence to try.
Now, I usually stick to what I'm familiar with, but am trying to branch out and go outside my comfort zone in my works lately... But I still struggle with technique and am always looking for new info and tips so when i saw this, amd something clicked, I had to say something. Haven't tried doing waves because they intimidated me... but... I think I just saw a big part of it that I was missing.
Never noticed that flat edge along the crest... Right!
It would be... because... like, gravity is a thing.
It's usually a small thing to others... but these details have been monumental to my future.
